When the building was constructed, its owners wanted to provide visitors with a chance to take in one of the most spectacular views of the nation's capital. There are only a handful of rooftop venues in Washington that provide spectacular views, and each one is unique in its own way. From Union Station, we have a panoramic view that stretches 300 degrees across the city, taking in the Library of Congress, the Capitol Dome, and the Washington Monument. And anyone who has been to Washington knows that the view is even more spectacular as the sun sets and the monuments come to life with illumination.
