It is 38 miles north of Dallas and only 5 minutes from Historic McKinney, TX, and is located in the little community of New Hope. We provide everything you need for a memorable and special occasion, whether it's a wedding, corporate meeting, graduation, birthday, or anniversary party. Stone Crest® is a 60' x 120' reception hall with beautiful surrounds, elaborate features, and substantial reclaimed wood for a lodge-like feel. Bring 30 or 275 of your closest friends or family members; whatever your guest list requirements are, we can accommodate you. No of the occasion, your whole guest list and all honorees will like our breathtaking landscapes and exquisite décor. You also have the option of selecting your own vendors in Stone Crest. If you're just getting started and need contacts, we offer a vendor list you can look through for services like photography, catering, coordinators, entertainment, and a photo booth. “Where did you acquire your interior barn wood?” we are frequently asked. Josh Brehmar was the source of our lovely barn wood (contact info below). He's located in Texas, but he traverses the country in search of barns with history and character. The history information he gave us on the two Wisconsin barns where we bought the wood for Stone Crest is below. One of the barns used to be a dance club, which is hilarious because it gets to continue providing entertainment for over a century... Stone Crest is what it is now. Stone Crest® is the ideal location for a memorable wedding ceremony and celebration. While they wait for you to make your way down the path to our gazebo, your guests will be seated among the gorgeous trees and views. Chandeliers, flowers, cloth, or nothing at all can be used to decorate the gazebo. Stone Crest's attention to detail, both inside and out, means you won't need much in the way of décor.

Built over a 55-year period beginning in 1924, the four buildings that make up Lone Star Gas Lofts are situated on a full city block bounded by Harwood, Wood, St. Paul and Jackson Streets in downtown Dallas. Two of the structures, the Lone Star Gas Co. and Dallas Gas Company buildings, are historic landmarks and fine examples of Lang and Witchell architecture with beautiful Art Deco details and are Dallas’ latest historic landmarks to be revived by Hamilton Properties in partnership with Central Dallas CDC.The Lone star Gas Co. Building is a thirteen story Art Deco structure with rich street entrances bearing ornate light fixtures. The elaborately appointed lobby once served as the bill payment area, back in the age when paying your bill meant taking a trip downtown, and still has soaring columns with ornamental check stands, a high beamed ceiling in brilliant colors and relief sculptures carved into the stone walls. This part of the historic building is now home to The Carlisle Room. Opulent is the best way to describe this newly renovated downtown venue. Twenty foot ceilings, terrazzo floors and marble pillars are just a few of the highlights of this historic 1930's Art Deco design. The addition of a private bridal and groom's suite is what it means to have your cake and eat it too.

Having a long-standing presence in the community, the Heard-Craig is committed to provide educational and creative opportunities to all. The Carriage House may be rented for wedding receptions, bridal showers, birthday celebrations, and other special events of many kinds. The two-story facility is equipped with a kitchen, two restrooms, and tables and seats for up to 50 people. China, crystal, flatware, punch glasses and coffee urns are all included in the rental price of the event. Tablecloths (in either white or black) can be rented for an additional fee. At the Heard-Craig Center, you may have your garden wedding. A total of 150 people can be accommodated in the Garden. Guests will be greeted by a big white Gazebo (which will be used for the ceremony) and two white wedding arches, which will allow them to make a spectacular entry. An additional Secret Garden is located behind the Gazebo and is available for surprise engagements as well as Engagement Photo Sessions. In addition to hosting a wedding shower tea, the Heard-Craig Center for the Arts provides an ideal location for booking a private picture shoot in the magnificent parlor, the library, or the front porch.
