Taylor Estate is a private residence located just outside the city of Rome, Georgia. Our one-of-a-kind and all-encompassing venue boasts a magnificent interior with a rustic appeal. Nestled in a valley surrounded by nature, we offer four exceptional villas, each of which boasts a breathtaking view of Farmer Lake and the surrounding mountains. This magnificent venue, which was recently completed, can accommodate up to 350 guests. It is located on the grounds of Taylor Estate. Construction of the White House at Taylor Estate began with the late WWE wrestler, the "Ravishing" Rick Rude, who built it and previously owned it. This 7-bedroom rental home is conveniently located in the heart of the property, allowing for a more intimate stay for your out-of-town guests. From the covered wraparound veranda, you can take in the entire estate's scenery. Located in front of a spring-fed creek, The Lakehouse at Taylor Estate is a three-bedroom vacation property. This open-air pavilion at the Lakehouse is an excellent site for rehearsal dinners, birthday celebrations, family reunions and company picnic-style gatherings, among other activities. The Hilltop Cabin at Taylor Estate is a rustic three-bedroom rental built atop a hill with sweeping views of the whole property and surrounding countryside. Proctor Farm is a 23-acre private wedding estate in Rome, Georgia, set within the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains. The property was originally built as a concert venue by owners Kathy and Michael Proctor, who hosted performances by members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Marshall Tucker Band, and Charlie Daniels Band on the grounds. Over time, the Proctors expanded the property into a full wedding venue, constructing dedicated ceremony and reception spaces that blend rustic character with vintage elegance. The estate offers four distinct event areas. The Outdoor Chapel is a permanent structure of stacked stone, timber, and stained-glass windows, lined with church pews for open-air ceremonies. The Indoor Chapel wraps eight 19th-century stained-glass windows around a warmly lit interior, entered by a cobblestone walkway past a fountain and evergreen landscape. The Banquet Hall seats up to 200 guests beneath crystal chandeliers. The Saloon — a converted horse barn — provides a stage, DJ stand, photo booth, dance floor, and a second-floor balcony, built on the same space where the Proctors once hosted live music. Hightower Falls is a 100-acre outdoor event venue nestled in the Appalachian foothills of North Georgia, approximately one hour west of Atlanta. At its heart stands an 80-foot spring-fed waterfall alongside the ruins of a historic gristmill — a site with roots stretching back to 1845, when Elias Dorsey Hightower built a three-story stone mill that once ground wheat and corn for the surrounding region. The property survived the Civil War undisturbed and operated its mills into the 1930s before the Walls family acquired it in 1995 and opened it for private events. The venue spans 100 acres with 2.5 miles of hiking trails, 11 camping cabins, and multiple indoor and outdoor event spaces accommodating between 2 and 200 guests. Booth Western Art Museum is the world's largest permanent exhibition space for Western art, housed in a 120,000-square-foot building in Cartersville, Georgia — designed to resemble a modern pueblo and constructed from Bulgarian limestone. Open since 2003 and located just north of Atlanta along I-75, the Booth is a Smithsonian Institution Affiliate and the second largest art museum in Georgia. The museum's permanent collection spans more than a dozen galleries, from Frederic Remington and Charles Russell to contemporary masters Howard Terpning and Andy Warhol. The Millar Presidential Gallery displays a portrait and original hand-signed letter from each U.S. President. Temporary exhibitions rotate throughout the year, hosting 12 to 15 shows annually.
