The food at Nari, a modern Thai restaurant, is inspired by the cuisine of Thailand's past yet prepared with an eye toward the present. The term "woman" in Thai has its origins in Sanskrit, which is where our name, "Nari," comes from. A personal love letter to the women in her life who taught her how to cook and, more importantly, how to eat, Nari is our chef and owner Pim's tribute to generations of Thai women who laid the foundation for Thai cuisine. Nari was inspired by the women in her life who taught her how to cook and, more importantly, how to eat. In the intimate setting of our Suda private dining room, we can accommodate up to 24 people. When combined with the adjoining lounge, this room may seat as many as forty people. A party of up to twelve people can also be seated in the semi-private Wine room, which is located in a separate area from the main dining room and features a window that provides a view of the activities taking place in the kitchen. The historic Clipper Ship Room is located in the heart of San Francisco on Union Square. The room was created in 1937 to commemorate a special era in aviation and Bay Area history: the inauguration of Pan Am's Clipper Ship service from Alameda to the Orient. The rooms' interior is reminiscent of an airplane and boasts an aerial panoramic photo of San Francisco as it was in 1937. The Clipper Ship room was once a famous cocktail lounge from 1937 to 1980. Today, it is among the most distinctive small meeting rooms in San Francisco. The Rengstorff House is the oldest historic house in Mountain View, California, and is a classic example of Victorian Italianate architecture seen on the West Coast. This venue has been lovingly refurbished while maintaining its historic appearance and atmosphere. Throughout the year, the Rengstorff House organizes a number of events, including an annual Spring tea, Christmas parties, and numerous Halloween/haunted events. Except during public hours, the Rengstorff House and gardens are available for rental every day to hold any occasion such as a dinner meeting, wedding, rehearsal dinner, or family get-together. With seating for up to 150 people, The Rengstorff House can accommodate small to big gatherings. At The Rengstorff House, work with our staff to create the event of your dreams. As soon as you step onto the grounds of the historic property, you will be struck by the place's distinct personality as well as its simple elegance. The facility, which is now available for rent every day of the week except during public tour hours, features beautiful Victorian Italianate architecture situated in a garden setting.

OUR STORY: Del Popolo began operations as a mobile pizzeria in May 2012, operating out of a glass-enclosed shipping container on the back of a Freightliner truck and serving Neapolitan-inspired pizza. In November 2015, we inaugurated our brick-and-mortar restaurant, which serves the same naturally-leavened, wood-fired pizza that we have been obsessing over since 2012, as well as market-driven antipasti and a carefully curated list of wine and beer selections. Our pizza truck is still on the streets of San Francisco, and we are happy to offer you the option of eating your pizza in a chair if you would prefer not to stand up. With a glass of wine, of course. Come and spend some time with us! THE GARDEN: Private and heated, The Garden is an outdoor dining room located just behind Del Popolo that can accommodate up to 100 people. It is available for sitting lunches and dinners for up to 40 guests or standing receptions for up to 50 guests throughout the year. MAIN DINING ROOM: Tuesday through Sunday evenings, Del Popolo's dining room is available for private parties to rent. We can accommodate up to 60 people sitting and 75 people reception-style. RESTAURANT + GARDEN BUYOUT: Monday through Sunday, Del Popolo is available for a full restaurant buyout at a discounted rate. You can choose to have a standing reception in The Garden prior to dinner in the main dining room, or vice versa, depending on your preferences. The spaces are divided by a stairway and a hallway and do not overlap, although they can accommodate a total of 100 people seated and 125 people standing when used in combination.

The USS Potomac is Franklin D. Roosevelt's historic presidential yacht — a 165-foot vessel docked at 540 Water Street in Oakland, California, on the shores of San Francisco Bay. Built in 1934 as a U.S. Coast Guard cutter and converted into FDR's floating White House in 1936, the ship served the 32nd president through the Great Depression and World War II before becoming a National Historic Landmark. Following a fourteen-year restoration, the Potomac opened to the public in 1995 and has since welcomed more than half a million visitors. The vessel offers private charters for groups of up to 120 guests for standing cocktail-style receptions, with reduced capacity for seated dining. Charter options include two- to three-hour cruises on San Francisco Bay — with departure and return from Oakland, or remote docking in San Francisco or Sausalito — as well as stationary dockside charters at the Oakland berth. Every charter includes full access to the ship, a Coast Guard-licensed five-person crew, and two to three docents available to lead historical tours. The Potomac is well suited to anniversaries, weddings and receptions, corporate events, retirement parties, and other private celebrations. Live bands and DJs are accommodated, and a preferred caterer list is available. Guests should note that, as a 1934-era historic vessel, the ship features narrow doorways, raised thresholds, and multiple decks without elevator access.

The vault has been repurposed into a secret seating area, as part of the legendary Ken Fulk's creative vision, which pays homage to the building's history. The pool table can be transformed into a dining table with a wood top that can accommodate up to 14 guests. The Billiards Room is located on the second floor, within the warm and inviting wood-paneled library. The room can accommodate a maximum of 14 people. An antique tin ceiling, a vintage red felt pool table that can also serve as a dining table, and double-paned glass doors distinguish the Billiards Room from the other areas of the hotel. This area, which is equipped with a high-definition flat screen television that broadcasts all major sports and entertainment channels, is the ideal place to play pool, watch sporting events, and eat some of our canapés or family-style favorites while watching sports.

The Chapel is made of warm cedar and rough-brushed aggregate, with leaf-dappled sunshine streaming in through glass doors that open onto outdoor patios, bringing it to life. A sculptural backdrop is provided by a stunning brushed stainless steel pipe organ. The Chapel is a spherical structure designed by Callister and Payne and completed in 1967. The emphasis is drawn to a center slightly raised altar by four curving redwood pews. Behind the gorgeous pipe organ is a little choir loft. Reinhardt Alumnae House, located in a tree grove in a quiet portion of the Mills College campus, can be rented for wedding receptions, meetings, birthday celebrations, and other special occasions.
