The Kim Sing Theatre, formerly the vaudeville house and movie theater, was built in 1926. The Kim Sing Theatre was artfully reimagined in the early 2000's for private use and re-opened to the public in 2017 for the first time in 17 years. Retaining original details such as bow truss ceilings and the customizable neon marquee sign, the site has been modernized into a striking and flexible space with a full residential kitchen, serving station, and AV room. The center of the old theater has been turned into a 2,200 square foot private outdoor courtyard. Kim Sing Theatre is a unique event space. Since it's rebirth, the space has been celebrated for being one of LA's most interesting venues and is respected for its achievement in architecture and design. The layout is single floor and clients can decorate the space as needed and very customizable. Clients can rent custom event rentals through us for your special event. We have a beautiful wine bar.
