Situated in the heart of the historic Sautee Nacoochee valley, the Estate offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. Our property boasts breathtaking views of Mount Yonah and the valley that was once used by early settlers to access the mountain. We have no doubt that they were taken in by the same splendor that we were! In recent history, the property was home to the Sautee Nacoochee Vineyard, which was one of the first wineries in north Georgia. Tourists came from all over the country to sample the wines and learn more about the 1.5-acre vineyard. They also enjoyed live music in the amphitheater, as well as the breathtaking views and refreshing breezes provided by the mountains. The grape vines are still there, and we are in the process of reopening this once highly sought-after destination. For us, the Estate is much more than a piece of real estate; it is a vacation destination. The 6.5 acres are ideal for small intimate groups who want to use a few venues, as well as larger groups who want to make use of the entire property. Sautee Mountain Retreat is a North Georgia mountain venue set on wooded grounds near Helen, offering a secluded setting for weddings, corporate retreats, family reunions, and church gatherings. The centerpiece for private events is the Sautee Event Lodge, a luxuriously rustic facility featuring a stone fireplace, a screened-in dining porch with bar and flat-screen television, a state-of-the-art catering kitchen, two commercial outdoor grills, and covered and enclosed exterior decks. The conference room accommodates up to 100 guests, with the decks providing room for an additional 50. Catering is flexible — clients may use preferred vendors, bring their own food and beverages, or hire outside services. Adjacent to the lodge, the Serenity Garden provides an outdoor ceremony space with three cascading water features and an arbor, accommodating up to 150 guests for weddings and vow renewals. The property also includes cabin villas in one-, three-, four-, and six-bedroom configurations built with Ponderosa Pine, allowing groups to stay on-site.

The farm's natural landscape sets the tone for gatherings held here — open fields, evening fireflies, and starlit skies offer a setting that few event venues can match. The property is carefully tended while remaining true to its working-farm character, making it well suited to outdoor celebrations, weddings, and private events that call for an unhurried, nature-connected backdrop in the North Georgia mountains.

It all started about six decades ago, when a young couple bought a piece of acreage deep in the Northeast Georgia Mountains. Cecil and Juanita Crumley decided to make their home there with unwavering confidence. They built a home and started a dairy farm on the property, where they raised their six children with love. Cecil and Juanita remained hopeful throughout their lives that their farm would be blessed with both rain and sunlight, allowing them to reap a bountiful harvest. There were good years and hard years, but their faith in each other and their love for one another never wavered. The parents chose to give a portion of the land to their children several years later out of love. The Venue at CeNita and CeNita Vineyards, Winery & Tasting Room are now located on that property. The spectacular event site was a labor of love for the Crumley children and their family, who wished to celebrate their hardworking and dedicated parents' legacy. Our event venue is the right mix of modern and rustic, and our great crew of family and friends is dedicated to making sure your event goes off without a hitch! Sautee Hereford Ranch Lodge is a 350-acre working cattle ranch nestled in the Northeast Georgia mountains, offering a private and pastoral setting for gatherings of all kinds. Originally built in 1972 as a family home for Larry and Ruth Lammers and their 14 children, the property was converted into a rental lodge in 1992 and remains family-owned today. The ranch is well suited for family reunions, retreats, corporate events, outdoor weddings, and wedding parties. Bordered by the Chattahoochee National Forest, the grounds offer access to woods, fields, and streams, with Alpine Helen just minutes away. Overnight accommodations are available on-site for up to 20 guests.
