The Emerson Event Venue offers a completely customizable experience unlike any other, with a variety of event venues for weddings, corporate gatherings, and other special occasions. We are a transitional idea that complements the trend of moving away from traditional and embracing classic style with bold design. We are located just outside of Dallas – Fort Worth on 10 acres of East Texas land, just outside of Dallas – Fort Worth. Our timeless white chapel was designed by Leanne Ford (HGTV's Restored by Fords), who is known for her extremely inventive designs. We purchased our magnificent 10-acre property in Scurry, Texas, in 2014 with the help of my husband Glen. It was a dream come true for us to be able to retire from the Big City, and we were thrilled with our new country living lifestyle. With years of experience in small business management as well as community service, we are well-suited to this position. After much deliberation, we have decided to pursue our dream of hosting weddings and events in our own home and backyard. We officially opened the doors to our lovely property, which is now known as The Hay Bale Wedding & Events Venue, in the summer of 2016. We are a small family-owned firm that enjoys making a difference in the lives of all of our customers. Your event will be held in our venue, which is decorated in the down-home country chic style you are looking for. The Castle in the Country $3,500 Up to 175 people can be accommodated for Saturday events. The Rustic Chandelier is $2,500 and is available Sunday through Thursday. It can accommodate up to 100 people. The Stagecoach is offering a $1,000 prize every Sunday through Thursday. It can accommodate up to 60 people. Beautifully appointed Bridal Suite with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the grounds and pool area. A private dressing area, vanity stations, and an en suite bathroom round off this luxurious space. With an en-suite bathroom, a full kitchen, a flat screen TV, and a quiet front porch / back porch view of the property, the Groom Suite is ideal for a wedding party. Caterers, vendors, and BYOB are all available for you to choose from. On the dance floor The Dance Floor is where all of the action takes place! Wood floors, exposed rustic beams, endless rows of twinkle lights, and an elegant chandelier are some of the features of this room. The Hay Bale Wedding & Events Venue is known for its logo-inspired altar, which is a mainstay of the venue. The arches of the structure are draped in flowing white voile, and the sparkling crystal chandelier adds a touch of glamour to the outdoor setting. today is the day to schedule a free tour A Thousand Cedars is the location for your next event in the near future. Construction on this venue began in the summer of 2019 and is expected to be completed by the end of August 2020. Numerous photographs that may be viewed here are offered to demonstrate the progress and development of the building, offering the audience an aerial view of our vision, creativity, perspiration, and dedication to the project.. Come along with us on our foray into the woods. Located in the heart of Texas's Hill Country, A Thousand Cedars offers a unique forest setting brimming with majestic Cedar trees, big Oak trees, and a variety of other native Texas plants. Many clearly indicated paths lead to the location, providing convenient access for the Wedding Party and their guests. The natural scenery also provides fantastic photography options for the entire wedding party and their guests. A Colorado and Industrial motif has been included into the design of the venue itself, which features Cedar beams, black iron trusses, exposed brickwork, vaulted ceilings that reach 30 feet in height, and enormous glass windows on all sides that let the forest and natural light to fill the space. Our Bridal and Groom Suites, which are completely furnished, are accessible via a stairway near the entryway. Each Suite will be large enough to accommodate entire bridal parties as they prepare for the big day, and it will be equipped with its own shower, bath, vanities, mirrors, and windows to let in plenty of natural light. Leading from the suites, you will arrive at the inside balcony, which provides a panoramic view of the entire reception hall and is an excellent location for additional wedding day photos or bouquet throwing. In the back of the Ceremony/Reception hall, there will be a complete bar for you to stock with your own beverages, as well as access to a kitchen for any culinary needs you may have. Tours will be available starting at the end of March, upon demand. We are looking forward to spending time with you in the woods.
