Hachland Hill is a family-run bed & breakfast, dining inn, and retreat center set on 80 acres of wooded hills in Joelton, just outside Nashville and about 25 minutes from the airport. The property has operated since 1955, and its grounds carry a long history: the land was once home to Cherokee and Chickasaw communities drawn to its spring-fed waters and abundant wildlife, and in the early 1700s it became known as "Paradise Hills" after two French brothers named Paradise settled the area. Crystal springs still run through the property today, alongside sassafras, maple trees, and wild turkeys, deer, and foxes. The retreat center hosts overnight stays, family reunions, business retreats, weddings, and banquets across several gathering spaces, including the Main Lodge, Spring Creek, and the more-than-100-year-old Tobacco Barn. Its kitchen is led by chef Phila Hach, known for Southern, farm-to-table cuisine served on-site. Butterfly Hollow Bed and Breakfast sits on 82 secluded acres in the Cumberland Plateau foothills near Gordonsville, Tennessee, about seven miles from Gordonsville and Carthage and fifteen miles east of Lebanon. The property is built around an 1899 farmhouse, renovated beginning in 1996 using timber and stone from the land along with reclaimed antique lumber and materials. The bed and breakfast offers three private guest rooms, each with its own bathroom, plus a separate two-bedroom, two-bathroom vacation cabin built in 2017. A hot breakfast with juices, breads, and seasonal fruit is included with a stay, and guests can explore the property's hiking trails or nearby Caney Fork River, Center Hill Lake, and Cordell Hull Lake. For weddings and elopements, Butterfly Hollow specializes in small, intimate gatherings of 30 guests or less. Couples can choose a ceremony at the Hillside Gazebo, Field Arch, or Hillside Deck, with the Open-Air Barn serving as both a reception setting and an indoor-weather backup. The Loveless Events Barn was built with versatility in mind, including a private kitchen where our culinary team could prepare meals for events hosted on-site. As demand grew, Loveless Events Catering was introduced to bring a wide variety of menu items to homes, offices, and other venues in the area. Seeing a need for a smaller private event space, the original Loveless Motel Dining Room was converted to the Harpeth Room. Guests have been hosting baby showers, business meetings, and even small weddings in this venue ever since. Now, Loveless Events encompasses on-site events and catering in the Barn and the Harpeth Room providing a sophisticated southern experience.
