Nisei is Chef David Yoshimura's first restaurant after holding the position of Chef de Cuisine at the Michelin-starred Californios restaurant in San Francisco. The restaurant is located in the Russian Hill district of San Francisco. The restaurant Nisei is a celebration of the Japanese-American ancestry of its owner, Chef David Yoshimura. These drinks may be enjoyed with your meal. In 2019, Nisei launched as a pop-up restaurant, offering a 10-course tasting menu at various locations across the Bay Area for more than two years.
