The event is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Special events are held from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. Sunday events are only available by request. Chef David Stein, who was born and raised on Maryland's Eastern Shore, is a graduate of the Baltimore International Culinary College in Baltimore. Chef Stein worked as an executive sous chef at the Inn at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels, Maryland, for four years before starting his own business. For the next 16 years, he worked as both the owner and executive chef of Bistro St. Michaels in New York City. Living and cooking on the water has shaped his cooking style, which emphasizes the freshness of his ingredients.

Nick's is a family-run establishment in the truest sense of the term. Nicholas, his cousin, his father, and his brother began operating this renovated establishment in 1992, after it had been renovated previously. Every time you need them, one of them is there for you. When you come in, make a request for them! Nick Cibel is a professional photographer. Nick's is a fun and relaxed restaurant where everyone is welcome. This is a gift from Nicholas, which explains the name on the door! Nick grew up in the Washington, D.C., area and is a native. He has been in the business since he was 12 years old. He currently owns and operates it. His meticulous attention to detail, gregarious personality, and fun-loving spirit make people want to be in his company! Tony Cibel is an American actor and director who is best known for his role in the film The Assassination of Gianni Versace. The patriarch of the family is well-connected in Washington, DC. But even though Tony has dined with presidents, traveled with movie stars, and knows just about everyone who is anyone in Washington, D.C., he maintains a low profile and is extremely charming. His passion for his restaurants has filtered down to the rest of his family, who has carried on his tradition of providing excellent service and delicious food! Greg Casten is an American actor and director. He is best known for his role in the film The Great Gatsby. Greg Cibel is Tony Cibel's nephew, and the two are related. Greg moved to the area from Boston in 1987. Greg is a former president of the RAMW association in Washington, and his strength lies in the execution of the back of the house. Greg is also a partner in ProFish Limited, a seafood company that supplies fresh seafood to customers throughout the Greater Toronto Area and the surrounding areas. Dean Cibel is a professional speaker and author. Dean is the youngest of Tony's sons, and he can often be found at the harbour, working at either Tony and Joe's Seafood Place or Nicks Riverside Grill. Dean is married with two children. As a father himself, Dean is devoted to his children and enjoys being around them!
