The historic gardens at Planting Field make the ideal location for weddings, rehearsal dinners, and other special occasions. After the gardens have closed to the public, ceremonies for weddings and other celebrations usually start at 5 o'clock or later. To guarantee the exclusivity of your event, only one nighttime event is scheduled for each date. A payment of $15,000 is required to reserve Planting Fields for your private event, and the host is entitled to one year of Sustaining Member perks. Wedding ceremonies call for a $5,000 donation, which entitles the host to one year of Family Member perks. The Belvedere Estate, situated on more than 25 acres in Westchester County, is a one-of-a-kind property. The estate consists of a large house and many smaller structures scattered over the grounds, all of which include excellent historical elements from the 1920s. A wooded region and cliff with views of the broad Hudson River and the Tappan Zee Bridge provide a range of lovely and peaceful vistas. The Belvedere was once part of Philipsburg Manor, a 90,000-acre property and one of America's richest landholdings, and was built in the 1910s. Dr. Philip Gillette Cole bought it in 1928 and renamed it Zeeview. It was built by Florence and Casper Whitney and purchased by Dr. Philip Gillette Cole in 1928. The home at Zeeview looked out over the huge Hudson River and the "Tappan Zee" with ease. The Coles erected the Agora House and the Studio on the land and displayed their significant collection of American Western art, which was ultimately moved to the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The estate was purchased by Samuel Bronfman of the Seagrams Whiskey dynasty after Cole's death. After the Bronfmans' primary mansion in Toronto, the property was christened Belvedere. Belvedere became the headquarters of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification in 1972. Stanton Ridge Golf and Country Club is a privately owned club in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, with a banquet facility open to members and non-members alike. The Stephen Kay-designed golf course opened in 1994, and the Cushetunk Mountains backdrop carries through the event venue — visible from the veranda where cocktail hours are often hosted. The clubhouse opens with a grand entrance and stone-faced gas fireplace leading into an elegant Ballroom, which flows out to a spacious veranda. Captain Lawrence Brewing Co. is located in Westchester County, New York, only a short drive north of New York City, and is the region's largest craft brewery, producing more than 28,000 barrels of beer per year. Captain Lawrence Brewing Company, founded in 2006 by Scott Vaccaro, produces a diverse range of beer genres, creating as many as one hundred different brands in a single year. The Updike Farmstead is a six-acre historic property operated by the Historical Society of Princeton, situated within the Princeton Battlefield/Stony Brook Settlement Historic District and listed on the State and National Register of Historic Places. Set amid preserved farmland minutes from downtown Princeton, the property features a late 18th/early 19th-century farmhouse, a 1892 barn renovated as a premier event space, a windmill, and surrounding gardens. The barn serves as the primary event space, hosting weddings, holiday parties, corporate gatherings, nonprofit meetings, and other private occasions. The farmhouse offers a bridal suite on the second floor, while the front lawn provides an outdoor setting for ceremonies.
