The Nessmith-Lane Conference Center brings 10,000 square feet of event space to Georgia Southern University's Statesboro campus, situated at the corner of Chandler Road and Plant Drive. A concourse and atrium fitted with floor-to-ceiling windows give the building a distinctive feel, while the fully customizable interiors adapt to events ranging from corporate retreats and professional symposiums to wedding receptions and gala dinners. At the heart of the facility is the Southern Ballroom, which accommodates up to 400 guests for receptions and banquets and can be partitioned into three independent sections to scale for smaller gatherings. A 376-seat auditorium rounds out the major spaces, offering theater-style seating and integrated audiovisual support for presentations, lectures, and performances. Additional meeting rooms of varying sizes and a dedicated exhibit hall make the center equally suited to multi-session conferences and trade shows. The Student Union Facilities and Event Services team provides planning support and event-day staffing, and in-house catering services are available through Georgia Southern's Blue Tie Catering program.

Dutch Ford Farm is a wedding and event venue set on a working farm in Candler County, Georgia, situated between Statesboro and Savannah in the Southeast Georgia countryside. The property blends rustic farmhouse character with Southern hospitality, offering couples the opportunity to host a four-day weekend retreat rather than a single-day celebration. The venue accommodates up to 200 guests for both ceremonies and receptions, with two distinct ceremony sites and a white reception barn designed for large gatherings. A separate Commissary Building provides an indoor ceremony alternative with flexible configuration options. On-site overnight accommodations across three buildings — a farmhouse, a brick house, and a cottage — allow up to 26 guests to stay on the property through the weekend. Rental includes venue tables and chairs, ample guest parking, and day-of coordination services for the rehearsal and wedding day. Our rustic-inspired Lodge, which spans over 8400 square feet, is nestled among swaying pines. Beaver Creek Plantation's grounds are the perfect backdrop for a modest, rustic, yet stunning wedding. At Beaver Creek Plantation, our mission is to provide traditional southern hospitality to you and your guests in an ambiance of rural beauty and breathtaking sunsets. On the property, there are a variety of ceremony and celebration locations. The cascading stone steps that adorn the entrance of the Lodge, as well as any of the waterfront spots on our gorgeous 30 acre lake, are among these alternatives. Our man-made island is the most unusual ceremony location accessible. Consider exchanging vows while the sun sets and a gentle breeze sweeps across the lake. Guests can dance the night away in the main Lodge's Grand Room, or beneath the stars on the lawn with a romantic outdoor reception, all while savoring exquisite cuisine made by our own onsite chef. Guests can stay the night in one of our three overnight facilities, including a lovely lakeside cottage, as the reception winds down. The natural stone steps leading to the lodge's front door contrast nicely with the lodge's beautifully stained façade, creating an impressive yet simple altar for your wedding ceremony. The groomed lawn of the resort, located between the lake and the lodge, is an ideal place for a ceremony or celebration. The lodge's interior has a stately yet rustic feel to it. Warm honey colored wood elements will greet your guests as they enter the lodge. The stairway and rooftop balcony, both made of cypress boughs, are the main point of the open floor plan. In a lovely outdoor setting, the three-sided Outdoor Reception Hall offers all of the facilities of an indoor reception hall, including a covered dance floor, stage, and bar.
