Fresh oysters from the Alabama coast and Maine sea scallops to entire roasted Georgia trout are just a few of the dishes that visitors may enjoy while dining on high-quality, sustainable seafood sourced from the top suppliers in the country. While you're enjoying beer, wine, and handcrafted cocktails, The Optimist will transport you to your favorite seaside haunts with dishes such as hickory-roasted fish and raw oysters, as well as beach-food favorites like as hush puppies and lobster rolls. Our light-filled, semi-private dining space is ideal for hosting business events such as receptions, showers, and celebrations, as well as birthday parties and other social gatherings. We are able to close The Optimist to the general public for you if you are hosting a wedding or other fully private event. Our Oyster Bar Private Dining Room can accommodate up to 16 guests, who will be seated at two parallel tables in the room. The area is filled with natural light and is decorated in a seaside style. Depending on your privacy requirements, you may choose to leave the room's floor to ceiling curtains open or close them. This space is solely available for seated events. Tucked on the West Marietta bend in the Howell Station Neighborhood, The Dogwood at Westside Paper is a quick ride to Georgia Tech, Blandtown, The Works, the West Midtown corridor, Midtown Atlanta, and the Downtown Atlanta attractions. The terraced front entrance leads into the curated pre-function and ballroom. Bathed in calming neutral tones, the space is flooded with natural light leading into the ballroom equipped with room-dividing curtains. After more than two decades in business, Bacchanalia has gained a well-deserved reputation as Atlanta's most recognized restaurant. Built in 1904, prior to the creation of Ansley Park, Rhodes Hall was created for one of Atlanta's wealthiest individuals by one of the city's most recognized young architects, Willis F. Denny II. It is a statewide landmark for both the quality and style of its architecture, which was built of Stone Mountain granite in the Romanesque Revival style. Rhodes Hall is available for a variety of events including wedding ceremonies and receptions, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, and holiday parties. Events at Rhodes Hall may utilize the front porch, the front lawn, and the first floor of the home. A maximum of 100 people can be seated throughout the first floor for a seated dinner, and the largest room can hold 40 people. Cooks & Soldiers draws its inspiration from the people and the cuisine of the Basque Country in Spain and France. The Spanish call it Pais Vasco; the Basque say Euskal Herria. Regardless of nomenclature, it stands for thousands of years of fierce independence, cultural autonomy, and unrivaled cuisine. Pintxos are the Basque answer to tapas. From the word for “thorn,” a Pintxo is traditionally served on bread, pierced with a toothpick. Pintxo Bars represent the casual, convivial aspect of Basque dining, where guests order for the table over a glass of Txakoli (crisp, slightly bubbly Basque wine) or tart Basque cider. Pintxo Bars are loud, vibrant and celebrate the joy of companionship and conversation over the formality of coursed dining. Cooks & Soldiers seeks to recreate this environment with our Pintxos Tradicionales, served on toast, and our Pintxos Especiales, composed expressions from our chefs. Services Provided Engagement parties, wedding showers, rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, receptions, and elopements are all available at The Carlyle. A get-ready suite can be included in their packages for soon-to-be newlyweds and their loved ones to prepare for the big day. The venue can provide chairs and tables for your event, as well as oversee the setup and cleanup of equipment. American Spirit works includes our neighbors, a fully functioning Whiskey distillery, a covered breezeway overlooking the distillery, a 3000-square foot courtyard with retractable sunroof and our 10,500 square foot event space. The Interior space, with its 18-foot ceiling and polished concrete floors, boasts a refined yet rustic interior with warm urban charm.

Summerour Studio is an expansive, refurbished warehouse located in Atlanta’s exciting Westside, where the city’s industrial past frames many destinations for design, dining, and style. This wonderfully unique building is the main studio for Summerour & Associates architecture firm. Updated in 2005 by renowned architect Keith Summerour, the building was previously the home to Preston Rose Printing, and had been in various uses since the 1920s. The roof over the 8000 square foot main space is supported by massive bow trusses, which allow the wide, open floor plan to be free of columns or supports. Revealed through a wall of windows that runs the entire length of the space is a breathtaking skyline view of Atlantic Station and Midtown. For events held at Summerour Studio, Novare Events provides full beverage service, including barware, glassware, and staffing. Summerour Studios has an exclusive in-house caterer. Bold Catering & Design will handle all of your food service and catering needs.
