We have a vintage vibe that has a large and welcoming floor plan while also providing cozy spaces to visit with friends without missing anything that's happening with our open second floor. VISION The vision for The Norwood was to restore the glory of being a place for entertainment and celebration of life’s best moments - Originally a Theatre from 1915 to 1949, The Norwood is now Detroit’s newest Industrial Event Venue & Downstairs Bar Lounge (Intermission) with 7,000 square ft and 3 floors. HISTORY In 1915, the architectural firm William S. Jay & Co. designed & opened The Norwood Theatre. It was then demolished in the summer of 1941 to allow for road widening. A new Norwood Theatre was built on the site designed in an Art Deco style, but eventually closed in 1949….

The San Marino Club has operated as a banquet and event venue in Troy, Michigan since 1976, building on a heritage that dates to 1938 when Sammarinese immigrants founded the organization to foster community and cultural connection in the Detroit area. The facility's design draws inspiration from the castle-like architecture of Mont Titano in the Republic of San Marino, expressed through intricate woodwork, coffered ceilings, and a radiant skylit lobby. The main club accommodates events from 20 to 800 guests, with spaces suited to weddings, corporate gatherings, nonprofit events, and private celebrations. In-house catering — with an Italian culinary tradition — is provided exclusively, with packages tailored by event type and guest count. The Giardino, a companion event building on the property, extends the offering with outdoor garden courtyards, a fountain patio, and indoor-outdoor flexibility for groups of 25 to 135 guests.

Troy Historic Village is an outdoor museum and event venue in Troy, Michigan, comprising 11 historic buildings arranged around a gazebo and two-acre green space. The collection spans structures from the 1800s through the early 1900s — including an 1837 church, an 1826 historic home, a log cabin, schoolhouse, general store, print shop, and town hall — each preserved to reflect the settlement and growth of the surrounding region. Three rental spaces accommodate a range of private events. The Old Troy Church, featuring eight stained-glass windows, an original bell, and cushioned pews, seats up to 110 guests for ceremonies and gatherings. The two-acre Village Green, centered on a gazebo, hosts outdoor celebrations for up to 300 guests and can accommodate tents through an exclusive vendor. The Niles-Barnard House, a restored 1826 building, offers a flexible indoor setting with Wi-Fi, a warming kitchen, and ADA-compliant restrooms for groups of up to 60. The Kilgour Scottish Centre is the home of the St. Andrew's Society of Detroit, a Scottish heritage non-profit organization founded in 1849. Situated in Troy, Michigan, the centre offers three distinct event spaces suited for weddings, corporate gatherings, showers, anniversaries, graduations, and celebrations of all kinds. The Great Hall, the venue's signature space, seats up to 150 guests beneath vaulted timber ceilings and beside two large stone fireplaces. Petruzzello's Banquet and Conference Center is a family-owned venue in Troy, Michigan, in operation for more than 40 years. The recently remodeled facility houses multiple ballrooms and event spaces that accommodate groups from 80 to 700 guests for social events, and more than 1,000 in a theater-style layout. The Grand Ballroom, suited to weddings, galas, and corporate events, seats 600 or more guests beneath ornate chandeliers with an expansive dance floor. The Plaza Ballroom (up to 320 guests) and Avenue Ballroom (260 guests) serve mid-size gatherings, while the Mezzanine and its adjoining outdoor terrace accommodate up to 120. The Lobby, anchored by a grand piano and sweeping staircase, is available for wedding ceremonies and cocktail hours. The culinary team brings experience working across diverse cultures and traditions, incorporating meaningful food and customs into each event alongside the venue's in-house catering.

The Management Education Center (MEC) is a full-service conference center on 25-plus acres in Troy, Michigan, roughly 20 miles north of Detroit. Dedicated in 1975 through the generosity of Southeast Michigan's major automotive and industrial leaders — including Chrysler, General Motors, and Ford Motor Company — the center was donated to Michigan State University's Eli Broad College of Business and has served the regional business community ever since. The facility offers more than 25,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor event space across a range of settings: a 385-seat auditorium with theater-style fixed seating and a private projection booth, two tiered amphitheaters accommodating up to 100 guests each, formal dining rooms for up to 304 guests that can be subdivided into three separate sections, and an outdoor North Patio suited to receptions and vehicle displays. On-site culinary services, integrated audio-visual technology at every seat, and complimentary high-speed internet throughout the building make the MEC a well-equipped host for conferences, trade shows, banquets, and private social events.

The Ford Avenue Piquette Plant was built in 1904 by the fledgling Ford Motor Company. It was here that Henry Ford would produce several car models- including his most famous automobile- the Model T. Once outside the plant's walls, the Model T started a revolution that would put the world on wheels. OUR ORGANIZATION The Model-T Automotive Heritage Complex, Inc., (doing business as) the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant, was organized in 2000 as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization for the purpose of preserving the Plant and keeping it from being demolished. Open year round as a Museum and education center, the plant now attracts visitors from around the world. It provides special programs and events for bus tours, families, and scores of people attending public and private events from car shows to weddings. The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant (FPAP) is managed by a Board of Trustees and volunteer committees. The historic site is financially self-supported. It is not affiliated with Ford Motor Company or Ford Foundation.
