    The Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts occupies a renovated historic bank building at 527 N. Patterson Street in downtown Valdosta, Georgia. Completed in 2003 following a community campaign and a naming gift from former Georgia Senator Loyce Turner, the center traces its roots to a local arts organization that dates to the early 1920s. The facility spans 17,000 square feet across seven light-filled art galleries, making it well suited for weddings, rehearsal dinners, bridal and baby showers, private recitals, corporate gatherings, and nonprofit events. A state-of-the-art on-site kitchen supports culinary needs, and the center works with a network of local caterers and vendors. The events team offers flexible rental arrangements, with fees that can be negotiated based on the size of the event. Beyond its event offerings, the Turner Center hosts approximately 30 exhibits annually featuring regional and national artists, alongside a permanent collection that includes more than 600 pieces of East African art and over 30 antique European porcelain works.

    The James H. Rainwater Conference Center in Valdosta, Georgia offers more than 47,000 square feet of meeting and event space set alongside a scenic cypress pond. The facility is operated by the Valdosta-Lowndes County Conference Center and Tourism Authority and serves a wide range of events — from corporate conferences and trade shows to weddings, banquets, and sporting events. The center's flagship Grand Hall spans 11,000 square feet and accommodates up to 650 guests for banquet-style gatherings. An outdoor Veranda of equal capacity brings panoramic views of the cypress pond and surrounding landscape to receptions and ceremonies. Smaller groups are served by the Garden Suites — four configurable rooms with panoramic windows — and the Gazebo Suites, two adjoining breakout spaces that together hold 160 guests. Throughout the facility, each meeting area is equipped with state-of-the-art A/V technology, individual sound and temperature controls, and high-speed wireless internet. An on-site culinary team provides customizable catering, from hors d'oeuvres and à la carte menus to full beverage and bar service packages.
