Founded in 1912 after a series of planning meetings held during the winter of 1911-1912, the club's original farmhouse from that era remains part of today's clubhouse. Its 18-hole championship course was designed by golf architect William S. Flynn, and the layout was revitalized beginning in 2018 under architect Ron Prichard and associate Tyler Rae, who worked to preserve the course's original character while updating its design.
