The Club at Longview is a private country club and event venue set on more than 1,000 acres in Waxhaw, North Carolina. The property traces its origins to the 1800s as the Longview Black Jack Farm, and the Club officially opened in October 2003 after the development of a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course on land that Nicklaus himself described as seeming always meant to be home to a great golf course. Old-world European architecture — shaped by founder Mel Graham's extensive travels throughout Europe — defines the 28,000-square-foot Clubhouse, giving the property a character that withstands the test of time and improves with age. The Clubhouse holds several distinct event spaces, including the Graham Ballroom, which seats 200 guests for a sit-down dinner or accommodates 250 for a standing reception; the intimate Wine Cellar with its wine country murals and old-world atmosphere; the Garden Room with access to a back terrace; and the TCL Board Room for meetings and smaller private gatherings.
