The property traces its roots to the Whitney Ranch, established in the 1870s, and the club was developed to complement the valley's natural features — gentle streams, oak trees, Ponderosa pines, and granite outcroppings. The centerpiece event space, Casa Alegria, maintains the mission aesthetic with vaulted ceilings, arched windows, and a stone fireplace, accommodating up to 200 seated guests for weddings, galas, and private celebrations. Blue Goose Event Center is a historic venue in Loomis, California, about 30 minutes east of Sacramento. The building dates to 1945, when it was constructed as a fully operational fruit packing shed serving the area's agricultural industry. In 2001, the South Placer Heritage Foundation — a local non-profit focused on historic preservation and community service — acquired the property and undertook a comprehensive renovation with contributions from over 100 businesses and community members who donated materials, labor, and volunteer effort. The venue's 6,300-square-foot main hall accommodates up to 375 guests and suits a wide range of gatherings, including weddings, fundraisers, corporate conferences, and milestone celebrations. A 34-by-17-foot raised stage anchors the space, complemented by a professional sound system, digital projector, theatre lighting, and a dedicated bride's room. A caterer's kitchen equipped with restaurant-grade appliances and a bar area with keg hookups round out the on-site amenities. Rental of the main hall includes full-day use from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., along with 26 round tables, 56 buffet tables, and 400 chairs.

Newcastle Wedding Gardens & Red Horse Barn is a heritage event property established in 1906, set on a twelve-acre private estate in the Sierra Foothills town of Newcastle, California — just minutes off I-80 below Auburn. The grounds center on a two-acre sweep of manicured gardens shaded by a 200-year-old oak tree, framing an outdoor ceremony setting alongside a granite rock waterfall and koi pond. The property offers two distinct event spaces. The Wedding Garden accommodates up to 130 guests for outdoor ceremonies among heritage oaks, seasonal blooms, and natural wildlife. Receptions move to the Red Horse Barn, a 110-year-old structure that seats up to 150 guests and pairs original antique chandeliers and a full barn loft with modern amenities including a built-in bar, cobblestone courtyard, and market lighting indoors and out.
