This historic Georgia homestead and horse barn, built in 1852, has been completely rebuilt to offer all of the modern conveniences you require without compromising any of the Southern heritage and charm you seek. It's ideal for a wedding in the fall. The original old farmhouse at Vinewood Meadows is the venue's crowning jewel, making it ideal for a southern country wedding. The Main House retains all of its historic elegance while providing all of the modern conveniences you require. The Main House is accessible for anything from a bridal luncheon to bridal party preparations and wedding party photos on the day of your wedding. THE BARN With custom ceramic tile flooring, a grand crystal chandelier, timeless white-washed shiplap walls, a gorgeous Bridal Lounge complete with a hair/make-up counter, a 3000 square foot pavestone patio with wrought iron railing and bistro lighting, and a spacious catering kitchen, the 2,500 square foot barn is modern yet classic! THE GAZEBO The white gazebo with elegant ceiling is a beautiful setting for little or large wedding celebrations, and it can accommodate the entire wedding party. A raised wooden platform placed on top of a hill in front of an old oak tree adds to the beauty of this gorgeous location. This ceremony location is beautiful in any season. THE FIELD The field is placed in the middle of a hayfield and has plenty of open space. The bride and groom, bridal party, and guests are all one with nature on this location, which has a very organic feel to it. Built entirely from the ruins of turn-of-the-century textile mills and power plants, as well as farmsteads from the 1840s to 1930s and a variety of other historically noteworthy locations across the country. The venue is the result of eight years of painstaking attention to detail, design theory, and the intelligent repurposing of historical items into a single space for people of all ages to enjoy.
