River Bend Nature Center sits on twenty acres in Wichita Falls, Texas, where forests, wetlands, and gardens typical of the Rolling Plains ecosystem meet along the River Bottom Forest Trail. The nonprofit nature center offers several outdoor venues for private events, including the Elizabeth Prothro Pavilion, the J.S. Bridwell Terrace, and the Forest Ceremony Site. The 7,000-square-foot Elizabeth Prothro Pavilion overlooks 15 acres of bottomland forest and accommodates up to 500 guests, making it suited to large wedding receptions, galas, and corporate gatherings. Nearby, the J.S. Bridwell Terrace offers an open-air setting planted with native vegetation for up to 200 guests, while the wooded Forest Ceremony Site, built around a rustic arbor of native wood branches, provides an intimate backdrop for ceremonies of up to 130 guests. The Rotary North Library serves as a bridal or groom preparation room for renters using the grounds. Kell House Museum

The Kell House Museum is a 1909 neoclassical home built by Frank Kell, one of the founding businessmen of Wichita Falls, Texas, on a hillside overlooking the developing town. Designed by the architectural firm Jones and Orlopp, the residence is distinguished by its white columns, white railings, and red brick walls. Kell and his wife, Lula Kemp Kell, raised seven children in the home, and their daughter Willie May lived there until 1980, when the Wichita County Heritage Society acquired and restored the property. Today the Wichita County Heritage Society operates the Kell House Museum as a historic house museum and event venue in downtown Wichita Falls, showcasing original family furnishings, textiles, decorative arts, and historic costumes alongside its architecture. Founded in 1967 on the shore of Sikes Lake, the Wichita Falls Museum of Art at MSU Texas is an accredited art museum that has served the community for more than half a century. Darrin and Kim French, husband and wife, run French Country Meadow, which is a family-owned business. French Country Meadow, founded on Christian values and based in faith, is a site where "country and class merge," making it the ideal location to celebrate the wedding of your dreams in the heart of northern Texas. Our venue is a 6000 square foot custom-built barn that harkens back to the days of the large red barns. Our goal is to create the ideal environment.... one in which "Country and Class Collide." A reception-style event can hold 200-250 people, depending on the layout and other factors. A bridal suite is located upstairs, as well as a catering kitchen that has an ice machine, warming cabinet, professional refrigerator, and microwave. A built-in bar, buffet room, and men's and women's restrooms are also available. For year-round use and comfort, the facility is temperature conditioned. The southeast side of the barn has gravel parking (3/4 acre). Our 1946 Farm Truck is a terrific addition to the property and provides excellent photo opportunities! We offer an outside ceremony location with a pergola for the ceremony and a grain bin silo where food or beverages can be served. The Kemp Center for the Arts occupies a restored 1917 building in Wichita Falls, Texas that first opened its doors in 1918 as a public library, a birthday gift from Joseph Kemp to his wife Flora.
