This spot is a fantastic natural location for an event because of its spectacular surroundings. A tent for up to 200 people can be set up on the property. There are also events that are exclusive to the mansion. The site is open for functions from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with additional setup and dismantle time available. Founded in 1918 as a private nonprofit, the organization makes its natural grounds available for weddings, corporate retreats, holiday parties, and private celebrations of all kinds. Event facilities span several distinct settings. North Beach stretches 300 feet along 55-acre Noanet Pond with sunset views, a pavilion, and room for up to 200 guests. The Orchard & Barn pairs a charming barn structure with an apple orchard and butterfly garden, accommodating up to 100. Powissett Lodge brings the gathering indoors with cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors, a fireplace, a full kitchen, and a deck — all handicap-accessible — for groups of up to 100. Hale can recommend event vendors who know the property well, giving planners a head start on building a team suited to the setting.

Starting with the moment you walk through the double French doors and into the foyer of The Tirrell Area, you will be greeted with our exquisitely designed reception room. Through floor-to-ceiling windows, take in the splendor of natural light and the breathtaking views of our exquisite, well-manicured landscape surrounded by the majesty of The Blue Hills. The Tirrell Room can comfortably accommodate up to 300 people. Additionally, you will have your own private bridal suite as well as a pleasant and relaxed photo room adjacent to the reception area as a welcome gift from the venue. We have a gorgeous white Gazebo right outside our reception room, nestled among our wonderfully planted grounds, which would be a wonderful location for your wedding ceremony. The Natick Lodge of Elks #1425 operates one of the largest function halls in Metrowest Massachusetts, accommodating up to 250 guests for a wide range of private events. The hall features a full bar, a full kitchen, and one of the largest dance floors in the area — complete with a stage for musicians and officiants. A sound system with projector, an outdoor BBQ area with a patio and horseshoe pits, and a generous private parking lot round out the space. The venue hosts weddings, receptions, birthday parties, holiday gatherings, banquets, class reunions, business functions, fundraisers, sports team celebrations, and community events. Renters receive two hours of setup time before each event at no additional charge.

Black Swan Country Club is a 38,000-square-foot Victorian-style venue set on 120 acres in Georgetown, Massachusetts, on Boston's North Shore. The property combines a traditional New England setting with a country club ambiance, anchored by an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Philip Wogan. Two dedicated ballrooms — the Andover and the Essex — host weddings, corporate events, showers, proms, fundraisers, galas, and milestone celebrations. The Andover Ballroom accommodates up to 325 guests beneath cathedral ceilings with pewter chandeliers and walls of windows, while French doors open to a balcony overlooking the course and a waterfall. The Essex Ballroom seats up to 210 guests under similar cathedral ceilings with chandeliers and elegant window treatments, with its own private balcony and spacious dance floor. Both ballrooms feature hardwood dance floors, silver Chiavari chairs, full-length linens, seasonal coat rooms, and a dedicated event manager who coordinates ceremony logistics, place cards, and day-of details. Outdoor and indoor ceremony options are available on the property, and American Flatbread Pizza, an on-site restaurant, rounds out the venue's dining offerings.

Wedding ceremonies are held at The Butterfly Place before or after hours, when you may rent the butterfly flight area for approximately one hour. Please contact Sylvia Leslie, Justice of the Peace / Wedding Coordinator as far in advance as possible to arrange a time for your ceremony and to schedule a meeting. There is no place available for a reception at The Butterfly Place; however, Sylvia will be happy to suggest places nearby which may host a beautiful and memorable reception.

Set within nearly 50 acres of trails, meadows, and pond views in Groveland, Massachusetts, Veasey Memorial Park is a Town of Groveland conservation property that has welcomed private events since the town acquired it in 1996. The main building — originally constructed in 1909 — houses four distinct rental spaces. The Great Hall is a 1,500-square-foot former chapel with a high arching buttressed wooden ceiling and tall tinted-glass windows; it accommodates 70 guests seated in reception style, or up to 100 for a ceremony. The Veasey Suite is a craftsman-style living room and adjoining dining room anchored by a working fireplace built from striated rock from the Merrimack River. The Mill Rooms comprise two rooms with honey-toned hardwood floors and an Inglenook fireplace, suited for up to 40 guests. The Boardroom is a recently renovated meeting room with comfortable seating and a presentation setup, accommodating up to 50. Full-venue bookings bring together all indoor spaces and the grounds for up to 200 guests. The park places no restrictions on outside caterers or tent rentals. Tables, chairs, and Wi-Fi are included in all rentals; two commercial kitchens are available on request. Proceeds from private events directly support the Groveland Conservation Commission and the ongoing stewardship of the park.
