Sunset Ranch is a private estate on the North Shore of Oahu that spans thirty acres and offers panoramic views of the ocean, mountains, and the entire northwest side of the island. Sunset Ranch, which is one of the only properties in Hawaii to be permanently protected with grant funding from the federal government, state government, and county government, has a specific mission to advance land conservation and sustainability in Hawaii. At this time, Sunset Ranch is available to host events as well as tours. Our Tours have been thoughtfully crafted to provide guests with a one-of-a-kind opportunity to enjoy one of the most exclusive estates on Oahu while also gaining knowledge about the history of the ranch, land conservation, sustainable practices, as well as Hawaiian history and culture. In addition, we serve as hosts for a wide range of events, such as weddings, birthday parties, fundraisers, family luaus, corporate retreats, and other types of social gatherings. We are hoping that by sharing the property in these different ways, visitors will become involved in the effort to preserve the land and maintain its sustainability. OUTRIGGER Kāʻanapali Beach Resort — formerly known as Kāʻanapali Beach Hotel and long celebrated as "Hawai'i's Most Hawaiian Hotel" — occupies 11 acres on the golden sands of Kāʻanapali Beach along Maui's western shore. Opened in 1964 as one of Hawai'i's first planned resorts, the property earned its cultural designation through more than three decades of programming led by full-time cultural specialists, offering guests complimentary daily classes in hula, 'ukulele, lei making, Hawaiian language, and traditional arts. The resort hosts events across a range of indoor and outdoor spaces, from the 4,000-square-foot Kanahele Room — which accommodates up to 250 guests for seated dinners and receptions — to the oceanfront Signature Lawn, which can accommodate up to 400 guests with views of Puʻu Kekaʻa (Black Rock) and the Pacific. Intimate ceremonies find a fitting home on the Naupaka Lawn, set steps from the beach and framed by palm trees and tropical flowers. OUTRIGGER acquired the hotel in July 2023, completing a $75 million renovation of its 432 guest rooms while preserving the cultural programs and aloha spirit that define the property.
