  Schooner Liberté is a 77-foot, three-masted staysail schooner offering sailing excursions on Vineyard Sound from Falmouth Harbor, Cape Cod. Custom-built in 2001 and annually inspected by the U.S. Coast Guard, the vessel is certified to carry up to 49 passengers on morning, afternoon, and sunset sails throughout the summer season. Liberté's design draws from the Hout Bay 70 by naval architect Dudley Dix, adapted for passenger service with a three-masted staysail rig that allows for easier sail handling and greater flexibility under varying conditions. A full onboard bar and spacious deck round out the experience for guests. The schooner is available for private charter and accommodates a range of occasions — weddings, corporate outings, birthday parties, bachelorette celebrations, and family reunions. Private charters are fully customizable, departing Falmouth Harbor for sails that may reach Nobska Lighthouse, Vineyard Haven, or east past Falmouth Heights. Captain Ross and first mate Kate purchased Liberté in 2025 and operate the vessel with an experienced crew based in Falmouth.

  The Pavilion at Weatherly is a waterfront farm wedding and events venue set on 25 private acres along the Potomac River in Newburg, Maryland, roughly an hour south of Washington, DC. The property offers more than 600 feet of shoreline, 180-degree river views, and a 130-foot lighted pier extending over the water — a combination that gives it a rare sense of natural privacy without sacrificing accessibility for out-of-town guests. The centerpiece of the property is a timber frame pavilion built with a contemporary country aesthetic and nautical touches. Douglas fir posts and beams define the interior, while a glass wall facing the river and 12 glass doors that open onto the lawn and beach keep the connection to the water immediate. We invite you to express yourself through our white open space, painted walls, and bright décor. The Gallery has a total area of 2200 square feet of open white space. Your imagination may flow with light rustic floors, white walls, exposed ceilings, and exposed duct work! Consider the look of Industrial Chic. This venue has a capacity of 95 people. This room comes equipped with 75 white folding seats and 8 5-foot round tables, so renting preferred tables and chairs is not necessary! Remember that around 500 square feet of this space is open to the top mezzanine level (which has double the ceiling height)! This area has a SONOS sound system and a four-hour minimum rental period. Murals and artwork abound! The loft has 650 square feet of space, which is excellent for a group of up to 40 people (with the den included). This area includes 30 coral-colored seats and six 6-foot fold-up tables. With one of our larger murals and already vibrant dcor, only the bare necessities are required to make this area your own. A refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and 65-inch television are included. You can also use the colored cabinetry, chairs, and side tables in this area. The space is bathed in natural light thanks to two wide windows. There are no tablecloths or linens provided. Due to its location on the second floor, this facility is not wheelchair accessible. This area is equipped with a SONOS sound system. The Den is a fully equipped lounge room with 400 square feet. It provides seating for 10 people, with a couch, lounge chairs, stools, and a bright green chair and table set among the options. With three mural walls, the possibilities for photography are unlimited. The DEN is equipped with a SONOS audio system. With seating for 20, the Courtyard offers an entire feel. We are confident that you will enjoy the 850 square feet of space, which has vibrant colors, a deck, turf, and a vegetation wall. The neon sign that reads "Say Yes To New Adventures" and overhead rope lighting make this establishment come alive at night. The SONOS sound system is also installed in the Courtyard. The studio is a 400 square foot area with a lot of personality. The room features one window that lets in plenty of natural light, as well as white walls and floors. Backdrops come in a variety of hues, including black, white, yellow, pink, and blue, and can be purchased as an add-on. The studio contains a three-person table and a couch for shooting comfort. A mini refrigerator, record player, and bluetooth speaker, as well as a clothes rack and steamer, are available for your use in the room. It should be mentioned that no food is permitted in this area, and the maximum capacity is limited to 7 people. The space is located on the second floor and has a two-hour minimum rental period.

  The History of Rockwood Manor Retreats and Events After leaving Washington, D.C., Carolyn Gangwer Caughey (pronounced "Coy") traveled west along the Old Conduit Road (now MacArthur Boulevard) to her newly purchased estate near Great Falls. Mountains of tall cedars, poplars, and oaks cover rock-studded hillsides that gently slope down to a stream valley. A name for Mrs. Caughey's country estate was suggested to her by the natural elements almost immediately: Rockwood. Carolyn was a well-to-do socialite whose ancestors traced their roots back to the American Revolution. She was also a successful businesswoman who had a passion for architecture and a keen eye for profit in the real estate market. According to Who's Who in the Nation's Capital, she is "active in civic betterment, particularly in relation to better-constructed and better-planned homes," among other things. It also mentions that she was responsible for designing one of the largest apartment buildings in the nation's capital at the time. As a result, many of her close friends were not surprised when she revealed that she had designed and personally supervised the construction of her new home. Visiting auctions and antique dealers in the area on a regular basis assisted her in the furnishing of her country estate. Celebrations This historic manor house, which can accommodate up to 120 guests for a ceremony on the wooded Patio, followed by cocktails on the Veranda and a sit-down dinner in the rustic elegance of Brooke Hall, is the focal point of our property. When the party is over, the Hoover Hall ballroom and festive Sun Porch are transformed into a two-level party space for dessert and dancing.   Irvine Nature Center is a nonprofit environmental education campus and event venue set on 211 acres of forests, meadows, and wetlands in the Caves Valley area of Owings Mills, Maryland. The property sits within a historic rural landscape and has established itself as one of the Baltimore region's premier destinations for eco-conscious celebrations. The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Environmental Education Building anchors the campus and includes exhibit spaces home to live animal ambassadors. For events, Irvine offers three distinct outdoor ceremony sites — the meadow, the outdoor amphitheater, and Wedding Point — alongside an all-weather reception tent that accommodates up to 175 guests. The Fern Rooms provide flexible indoor meeting and event space for groups up to 110. Rental fees directly support Irvine's conservation and environmental education mission. The center welcomes weddings, mitzvah celebrations, corporate gatherings, and private parties.
