    The Cape Club of Sharon is a country club and private event venue set on 200 acres in Sharon, Massachusetts, approximately 25 minutes from both Boston and Providence. Originally established in 1959 as Spring Valley Country Club on a Geoffrey Cornish-designed golf course, the property joined The Cape Club family in 2016 and was rebranded in January 2017. The clubhouse underwent a comprehensive renovation completed in May 2022. The centerpiece for private events is the newly renovated Grand Ballroom, featuring a dramatic cathedral ceiling, elegant chandeliers, an oversized dance floor, and floor-to-ceiling glass windows overlooking the golf course landscape and illuminated outdoor fire pits. The space accommodates 60 to 270 guests for weddings, milestone celebrations, corporate gatherings, and private parties. An outdoor Grand Patio with fire pits provides additional space for ceremonies and cocktail receptions. An in-house culinary team handles catering with both custom menus and pre-designed packages. A dedicated events staff — including an Event Sales Director and on-site event coordinator — supports planning from initial inquiry through event day.
