The Oncenter is Central New York's premier convention and entertainment facility, occupying three city blocks in downtown Syracuse. The complex unites three distinct venues: the Nicholas J. Pirro Convention Center, the Upstate Medical Arena at The Oncenter War Memorial, and the John H. Mulroy Civic Center Theaters. The Nicholas J. An underground tunnel links the Convention Center to the Arena and Theaters, keeping the full complex connected for multi-day events. The Upstate Medical Arena opened in 1951 as a veteran's memorial and has been home to the Syracuse Crunch since 1994, accommodating up to 7,000 guests across concert, sporting, and assembly configurations.
