Within our five turn-of-the-century warehouses, The 1896, Studios & Stages houses over a dozen different shooting locations for Photo, Film, Commercials, and Events. Opened in 2008 by sculptor Jen Durbin, The 1896 has welcomed productions and events both small & large for nearly two decades. The site boasts many of its original features, most notably the century-old textured warehouse walls and brick-lined 110' long entrance & promenade, gorgeous skylit warehouses with a 37-foot high clerestory of windows, a 70-foot smokestack towering over Flushing Avenue, a freight elevator with original gear room, and a wrought-iron balcony and fire escape opening onto a brick-lined courtyard. The 1896 with its multiple maze of interconnected and towering warehouses and breakout rooms, both indoor and out, serve as a raw canvas for anything from a stunning Wedding to shape shifting Immersive & Interactive Events and Brand launches, raucous live Concerts blazing til dawn to mud-slinging Fashion Shows and Carnival-themed Birthday bashes. The capacity taps at 274 without permit but swells up to 1200 with a TPA. Positioned inside the North Brooklyn Industrial Business Zone in Bushwick, our parties feel on the edge of nowhere but turn the corner and you hit a dozen taco stands and the Jefferson L. Our vision for this multi-purpose 26,000 square foot filming and event location presented an opportunity to protect this historic block of buildings from the fate of over-development and to preserve it for the arts. In addition to being located at the top of the hotel's grand staircase, the private DELAMAR Boardroom is also easily accessible from both the Library and the restaurant. The DELAMAR Boardroom in Greenwich, Connecticut, is an ideal setting for high-level corporate meetings because of its discreet location and capacity of up to sixteen participants. The boardroom is furnished with luxurious leather high-back chairs and a table that was custom built for the space. This elegant meeting space is equipped with contemporary amenities such as cutting-edge audiovisual equipment, fine crystal glassware, leather blotters, and signature pens. The Antibes Ballroom, which measures 2,000 square feet and has an adjoining private waterfront terrace, is ideal for larger groups. A smaller party of 15 to 200 guests can be accommodated in the Ballroom, which can be divided into two smaller rooms, "Half Antibes" and "Deauville." Large glass doors connect both rooms to the waterfront terrace, which extends the entire length of the building's length. The terrace is planted with herbs and plants native to southern France, which fills the air with a fragrant scent that transports you back in time. A wrought iron "tonnel" is thatched with bamboo to dapple the sunlight and provide shade for your guests during the warm summer months. We built our space to be unique and original in many ways but also very minimalist and interchangeable. Our tasting room is 1,000 sf and the main feature here. Large windows open onto the sidewalk. Grey and concrete dominate the space, with 2 circular bar. One bar is a food corner with a simple kitchen set up good for food catering, pop ups or the DJ booth! Lights are all dimmable to create different moods. The main feature of the space is the large circular bar with 40 taps behind it and a big circular window that overlooks our production space. On tap we have a large selection of our cocktails (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), local beers, spirits and wine. There are 2 restrooms, one with handicap access. There is plenty of seating, bar seats, custom bench and circular tables, all can be moved or removed.
