Stable Craft Brewing at Hermitage Hill traces its roots to Hermitage Hill Farm and Stables, founded in 2006 as an operational horse farm where Tennessee Walkers were bred and trained on a property built around a 288-foot barn. The founders transformed the farm into an event venue for weddings, receptions, private parties, and corporate gatherings, and played a role in the Virginia legislation that helped establish agritourism in the state, all while preserving the rural landscape of the Shenandoah Valley. The historic barn has since been renovated into a reception venue that blends rustic architecture -- hand-hewn beams and timber crafted with local artisans -- with heating, air conditioning, and a professional sound system. The property has grown into a destination brewery and cidery alongside its wedding and event business, adding on-site guest suites, a taproom, and an agri-pub style restaurant. Private event spaces include the Saddleback Ballroom, which seats up to 200 guests for weddings and receptions; the climate-controlled Cider House, for gatherings up to 70; and the Brewers Club, an intimate space for parties up to 32. Stable Craft Brewing at Hermitage Hill has been named Brewery of the Year by the Virginia Restaurant, Lodging, and Travel Association and Best Outdoor Dining Venue by Virginia Living.

That We Are We were the ones who bought the farm! The name Belle's Pleasure was inspired by my great grandmother's ancient house in Prince Georges County, Maryland (Bealls Pleasure). As a child, I remember being awed by the big brick home with chandeliers, rich rugs, secret staircases, room after room stuffed with treasures, and the aroma of boxwoods that encircled the secret garden in the back. Even before we found this teeny-tiny slice of heaven we now call home, I knew our farm would be called Belle's Pleasure. This property was first shown to us in the fall of 2016. I went to look at the house with our month-old baby in tow. When I saw the cathedral ceilings at the top of the barn's inner staircase, I knew this was the one! A Smidgeon of Heaven Being here at the farm gives me a special feeling, a serene and peaceful atmosphere that penetrates the entire property. Maybe it's the history; knowing that the old farmhouse at the property's center has stood for almost two centuries gives you a sense of confidence. Maybe it's the rustic beauty of the enormous white barn, which was built by farmers in 1920 as a dairy barn. Several generations have lived and worked on this land over the past 250 years, and this small piece of heaven has been a part of their lives. Please come in and take a look around. The Real Estate Industry With 15 acres of rolling pastures, mature trees, beautiful white fencing, an acre and a half pond with a dock and bridge, the 1920's dairy barn, the historic farmhouse built in 1769, the horse trails and creek that meander through the woods, and the horses, the photo opportunities are infinite. The house is a charming, rustic piece of history. The Wedding Suite is a special place for weddings. Arrive early to relax! Get ready with your bridesmaids in our two-story, two-bathroom bridal suite on the day of your celebration. You'll have everything you need, including numerous mirrors, outlets, and primping areas, as well as a full-size refrigerator, to enjoy getting all dolled up with your closest friends.

Boyce, Virginia's Long Branch Historic House and Farm is situated on 400 acres of land, approximately one hour and a half north of Washington, D.C. In order to benefit our local and regional communities, we want to preserve and use the assets of the Long Branch estate to the greatest extent possible. In addition, our picturesque Sheila McQueen Gardens are an ideal setting for weddings and other private events. Visit the house, have a picnic on our beautiful grounds, or hike or walk around our pristine property at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We welcome you to come and enjoy ourselves. Let us know when we can expect to see you. Weddings Long Branch, Virginia, is nestled against the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and offers some of the most spectacular views of the Shenandoah Valley. Due to the fact that it surrounds a beautifully groomed ceremony site, our Sheila Macqueen garden is an ideal setting for traditional Virginia weddings. The Main Gallery of the mansion can accommodate up to 75 guests for a more intimate Virginia wedding and reception venue when hosting smaller parties or during inclement weather conditions. Regardless of where you choose to get married, Long Branch has a Bridal Suite and a Groom's Room where you can prepare and relax before your big day. This beautiful, upstairs room with views of the ceremony site, as well as a luxurious dressing room and bathroom, is perfect for the bride and her bridal party to get ready, while the groom's "Tack Room" is the perfect place for the groom and his groomsmen to relax and enjoy pre-wedding preparations. History Long Branch has seen it all, including the Civil War, the Reconstruction era, the Great Depression, and two world wars, among other things. Long Branch is significant because of its connection to national, regional, and local historical narratives. It was designated as a Virginia Historic Landmark in 1968 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1969, respectively. Robert Carter Burwell, a descendant of Robert "King" Carter, inherited the land in Clarke County, Virginia, in 1788. The land was located along a stream known as Long Branch and was inherited by Robert Carter Burwell. Burwell established a wheat plantation on the land he inherited, employing the labor of enslaved laborers to do the work. Around 1810, he began construction on a mansion on the site, which would be completed in about twenty years. Burwell, with the assistance of a local builder-architect, designed and built the house in accordance with the classical principles suggested to him by Benjamin Henry Latrobe, the architect of the United States Capitol, in a letter dated July 21, 1811, and published in the Journal of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. It was suggested by Latrobe that Burwell include a servant's staircase and that the dining room and chamber be located on the south side of the house. Burwell was unable to incorporate all of Latrobe's recommendations into the final design of Long Branch, but he did include the servant's staircase, which can still be seen today in the building. Burwell did not have much time to enjoy his new home because, while serving in the military during the War of 1812 in the filthy camps around Norfolk, Virginia, he became ill and died.

The Winery at La Grange sits on land originally part of Robert "King" Carter's Bull Run Tract in Haymarket, Virginia, and traces its centerpiece — a three-story red brick manor house — to builder George Green. Boxwoods planted generations ago have grown to over 20 feet, forming a natural archway along the stone path that connects the manor house to the winery. Benoni E. Harrison purchased the property in 1827 and later served as Prince William County's delegate to the Virginia General Assembly; his name lives on today in Benoni's Lounge, the estate's stone-walled cellar. The winery grows 6.3 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and Petit Manseng grapes on the working farm, producing wines described as ones where "every glass tells a story." For weddings, private events, and corporate gatherings, the property's Barn Building serves as its main event space, with suggested floor plans accommodating up to 150 guests and wedding rentals that include the ballroom, bar, bridal suite, patios, kitchen, and grounds.

Eden Try is a 12-acre winery estate in Fredericksburg, Virginia, minutes from downtown and roughly midway between Washington, D.C. and Richmond. The property centers on a restored white barn set among working vineyards, along with a historic Manor House and landscaped grounds that give couples room to exchange vows beside the vines and celebrate afterward under soaring ceilings and cathedral-grade beams. Weddings and private events take place in the Vineyard Barn, which pairs rustic wood floors and chandeliers with modern conveniences like a full HVAC system, a bar, and a catering prep kitchen. Outdoors, ceremonies can be held at a permanent arch behind the Manor House, in an open vineyard setting, or in other spots around the estate, each set up and broken down by the venue's staff. Beyond weddings, Eden Try hosts private celebrations such as bridal and baby showers, birthdays, anniversaries, rehearsal dinners, and corporate gatherings, alongside its regular wine tastings and the Sip & Savor pairing experience. The estate is family-owned, with an on-site team involved in the planning and day-of details for each event.
