Rush Creek Lodge & Spa sits on 20 hillside acres at Yosemite's Big Oak Flat (Highway 120 West) entrance, 22.5 miles east of Groveland, California. Opened in 2016, the resort was designed as a destination in its own right — offering 143 lodge rooms, suites, and hillside villas, all with private nature-view decks, along with a spa, restaurant, tavern, saltwater pool, and recreation guide service. For groups and celebrations, the lodge provides indoor and outdoor event space accommodating gatherings from intimate dinners of up to 48 guests to full weddings of up to 200. The main Event Hall features vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams, massive picture windows, and two walls that slide open to connect seamlessly with a private outdoor patio. A large stone fireplace anchors the room, while the adjoining fire-pit patio extends the celebration outdoors. The Private Dining Room, situated next to the restaurant, offers a more intimate setting for up to 48 guests. MacArthur Park Restaurant and Bar occupies California Historical Landmark No. 895 at 27 University Avenue in Palo Alto — a building constructed during World War I as a Y.W.C.A. Hostess House, designed to serve as a safe meeting place for women and children visiting troops training at nearby Camp Fremont in Menlo Park. The structure has since been preserved as a landmark and transformed into a full-service American restaurant and event venue steps from the Caltrain station. The restaurant offers five private event spaces — the Veteran's Room (100 seated), the Julia Morgan Room (40 seated), Camp Fremont (30 seated), and an outdoor Patio (100 seated, 150 standing) — plus the option to buy out the full dining room for gatherings of up to 550. Events range from intimate board meetings and milestone dinners to wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, and corporate holiday parties. Weddings and anniversary parties, corporate off-site meetings, and company conferences can all be held at the History Club of Los Gatos. Our quiet and beautifully maintained grounds, located in lovely downtown Los Gatos, provide a sanctuary of calm in our indoor and outdoor settings. Our interior's clean lines provide you with a blank canvas on which to create your own unique event. Our garden area is also ideal for weddings, parties, and family gatherings. Inside, we can easily handle gatherings for up to 150 people, with additional outside flexibility. We are an easy walk to restaurants and hotels in Los Gatos, making us ideal for smaller groups (20 to 50) looking for a pleasant, quiet area to work. To allow you to design your event, we have a raised stage with grand piano, spacious hall with hardwood floors, sound and projection equipment, dressing rooms, covered terrace, outside bar, beautifully planted garden, and gazebo.
