In a quaint corner of the property, adjacent to Dusek's Tavern, Tack Room is the former carriage house where Mr. Dusek once kept his horses. Decorative equine details and an industrial feel make the Tack Room a playful and welcoming environment for intimate weddings, rehearsal dinners, holiday parties, and special celebrations. Large windows open to the outdoor patio in the warmer months and a well-loved piano compliments the space. Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba!, Chicago's first Spanish tapas restaurant, serves authentic Spanish cuisine in a warm, hip setting enhanced by lively music. Guests can dine inside or outside on the all-season patio while enjoying award-winning sangria, tapas (the famous small dishes of Spain), pintxos (one-bite appetizers from Northern Spain) and paella (a traditional Valencian rice dish). Offering savory and colorful combinations of vegetables, cheeses, meats and seafood, Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba! also features Flamenco Dinner Shows, cooking classes, wine tastings and catering for private parties of all sizes. At Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba! we can accommodate groups of 10 to 300 in our private and semi-private rooms, serving a custom menu of tapas, paella and more. We also offer carryout and off-premise catering including aboard Chicago’s First Lady Cruises.

In September 2014 the 2 year restoration of Biggs Mansion was completed. With over $4 million dollars spent and absolutely no cost spared, real estate developer and current owner Fred Latsko converted the previously known IL Mulino restaurant into Chicago's finest cigcar show and private cigar lounge. Biggs Mansion also features an outdoor patio.

We feel that street food is the gastronomic essence of a city's culture here at Gadabout. Rolf and Meagan Pedersen, who run the restaurant, draw inspiration from all over the world to make upgraded, non-traditional street food. The essence of our cuisine, which reflects a careful convergence of cultures, a celebration of Chicago's rich diversity, and a sense of approachable adventure, is the word "gadabout," which means a regular, pleasure-seeking global traveler. Through the use of robust flavors and local products, our food attempts to generate a sense of lighthearted nostalgia. The cocktail menu features small-batch spirits in vivid drinks, as well as a variety of vintage sodas. Our goal is to create a dynamic list of sustainable practices at our restaurant and in the community as a whole. To reduce our carbon footprint and give you the greatest and freshest products available, we acquire produce and proteins from local farms whenever possible. We’re lucky enough to have a great space available for parties of any size - up to a hundred people. Hidden Creek Estates is owned and run by Kerry & Dude Frank. In 2007 they started an aviation software company and grew a successful company over the next decade. In 2018 they sold their shares and changed the legacy of their family forever. The Frank family home is in Roscoe, IL. When they learned that 30 acres of beautiful farm land nearby was for sale and would potentially be turned into a subdivision they had to do something. The property held 185 years of history, 2 miles of manicured trails, and provided income for a local farmer. In just a few days they chose to purchase the property to preserve the integrity of the grounds and its natural beauty and hoped to use it to give back to their community in some way. They weren’t sure what to do with the property and then Covid-19 hit. Kerry’s sister was about to get married a few months later, and her venue cancelled. The Frank family offered to host the wedding on the new property, and an idea sparked. This could be a really special place. Before they knew it they helped two other family friends replan their weddings on the property. As word began to spread, they realized this property was perfect to host special events and make amazing memories. After hosting a few weddings, they decided this was the perfect location to host weddings, special events, and community events. Today the Frank family continues to improve and care for the grounds and are currently remodeling their iconic antique yellow barn to host events.
