A museum with both permanent and changing contemporary exhibitions is located inside the Parthenon. The goddess of wisdom and war Athena is shown in a magnificent 42-foot-tall golden statue in the Naos chamber. Casts of the original Parthenon can be found in the Treasury. Private arrangements for the Parthenon can be made outside regular museum hours. The Naos Room, Treasury, and art galleries can all be accessed only by those who have exclusive reservations.     Adventure Science Center is a not-for-profit science and technology center perched atop a hill just minutes from downtown Nashville, with panoramic skyline views from several of its spaces. Best known for its 175-plus hands-on exhibits and the state-of-the-art Sudekum Planetarium, the center opens its 56,000 square feet of exhibit halls for private events after hours and on the days it's closed to the public. Event spaces range from the Jack Wood Hall, which seats up to 136 for a banquet with downtown views and built-in AV, to the West Galleries and the Wonders of the Universe hall, a second-floor space with an open layout, a built-in amphitheater, and NASA exhibits. The Sudekum Planetarium's 63-foot domed theater seats 160 and can host private planetarium or laser shows, while smaller classrooms and the Innovation Incubator suit meetings and breakout sessions. For large gatherings, the full science center accommodates up to 1,200 guests. Rentals include setup and breakdown time, onsite event staff, and tables and chairs, with add-ons like digital signage, black linens, and live science demonstrations such as a liquid nitrogen station or a Ruben's Tube s'mores bar. Free parking is available in both the upper and lower lots.

    Cheekwood Estate & Gardens is the former family home of Mabel and Leslie Cheek, a 1930s Georgian-style mansion set on 55 acres in Nashville. Today it operates as a botanical garden, arboretum, and museum, with thirteen distinct gardens, a 1.5-mile woodland sculpture trail featuring contemporary outdoor art, and the restored Cheek Mansion, which showcases period furnishings and rotating exhibitions. For weddings and private events, Cheekwood offers a range of indoor and outdoor spaces set against the rolling hills of Nashville's Percy Warner Park, from intimate garden settings like the Wisteria Arbor and Burr Terrace Garden to larger venues such as Massey Hall and the Historic Mansion & Swan Lawn. The Historic Mansion & Swan Lawn accommodates up to 350 seated guests, while gardens like the Wills Perennial Garden and Howe Garden are popular settings for ceremonies and elopements.
