Design: The name Hortus, Latin for garden, reflects the emphasis on freshness, and the theme of the garden runs through the interior. Hortus is a garden of earthly and ethereal delights. With just 12 guest rooms and a stunning indoor-outdoor barn, the property is designed for gatherings that feel intimate and completely your own. The centerpiece of the property is The Barn, a striking indoor-outdoor space with vaulted ceilings, warm wood interiors, built-in speakers, and bifold doors that open directly onto a garden patio. The Barn seats 40 and stands 75, with the option to add a sailcloth tent on the grounds for events of up to 150 guests.
