Alyeska Resort is a year-round alpine destination resort located in Girdwood, Alaska, approximately 40 miles south of Anchorage in the Chugach Mountains. The Hotel Alyeska — a chateau-style, 299-room property at the base of Mount Alyeska — serves as the anchor for weddings, corporate gatherings, and private celebrations set against a backdrop of glaciers, spruce forests, and the waters of Turnagain Arm. The resort offers more than 24,000 square feet of dedicated event space across indoor and outdoor venues. The Columbia Ballroom and Kahiltna Court host receptions of up to 200 and 150 guests respectively, while several outdoor ceremony sites — including the Pond Courtyard, Pond Terrace, and a mountaintop Mountain View location accessed by aerial tram — accommodate gatherings of varying sizes through the summer season. Gwin's Lodge is a historic log roadhouse situated at the base of the Kenai Mountains within Chugach National Forest, in Cooper Landing on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula. First opened on January 1, 1952, the lodge is one of the oldest continually operating log roadhouse lodges in Alaska, set across from the turquoise waters of the Kenai River. Two outdoor pavilions accommodate events ranging from intimate gatherings to full-scale celebrations. The Lower Pavilion is a 2,500-square-foot screened structure featuring a stage and room for up to 150 guests, while the Upper Pavilion hosts more intimate events of up to 50 guests. Both pavilions are set among towering spruce trees and are suited for weddings, receptions, corporate retreats, conferences, and family reunions. The on-site full-service Roadhouse Restaurant handles catering for events, and 17 guest cottages plus two cottage houses accommodate out-of-town visitors on the property.
