Idle Hour is a bar and private event venue in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, housed in a distinctive barrel-shaped structure built in 1941. The building is a celebrated example of programmatic architecture — designed to attract passing motorists — and has become a neighborhood landmark along Vineland Avenue. The venue offers Americana cocktails and food in an atmosphere that reflects its original era, with a warmly lit wood-paneled interior and a cozy back patio anchored by a beloved giant bear statue. Private events accommodate up to 200 guests across the patio and full venue, and Idle Hour has hosted wrap parties, weddings, and company events. The venue is operated by the 1933 Group.

The Lodge Beverly Hills is a historic hunting lodge built over 110 years ago, set on a secluded property just minutes from the heart of Beverly Hills. Originally part of land acquired in the early 1900s by the Anderson family — developers of the Beverly Hills Hotel — the Lodge served for years as a private hideaway for the hotel's most distinguished guests, who arrived by horseback through canyon pathways to dine beneath towering oak and sycamore trees. Rescued from demolition in 2012 and carefully restored, the property retains its Old Hollywood garden character while welcoming a new generation of private events. The grounds accommodate gatherings from 10 to 125 guests, making the venue equally suited to intimate garden parties and larger seated celebrations. Year-round blooming gardens, mature centennial sycamore and oak trees, and a classic footbridge form the backdrop for weddings, private dinners, photo shoots, and garden parties. The Lodge sits on lower Benedict Canyon Road in Beverly Hills, surrounded by some of the area's most storied historic estates.

The Sepulveda Screening Room is a professional screening facility located at 1640 South Sepulveda Boulevard in West Los Angeles, operated by Screening Services Group under the direction of guild and studio projectionist Michael S. Hall, who brings more than 48 years of industry experience to the facility. The venue is part of a union-affiliated network ranked highest among small screening rooms by Variety magazine. The main theater seats 65 to 71 guests on stadium-style cushioned seats and supports an extensive range of professional formats including Dolby ATMOS, DCP 2D and 3D, 4K Christie DLP, Blu-ray, and HDCAM-SR, with a screen measuring up to 12'6" by 23'9". Additional rentable spaces include an art gallery and a patio available on evenings and weekends. The facility operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, and offers free Wi-Fi and underground parking.

The La Cañada Thursday Club, a beautiful, historic gem of a property, is located in the heart of La Cañada Flintridge. Built in 1926, the facility has been the setting for many wedding celebrations and other special events. The clubhouse has many amenities, including a ballroom with an elevated stage, tea room, bridal suite, and kitchen. The outdoor courtyard is a private walled area that has arched wrought iron gates, a large fountain, a majestic oak tree, and a mature garden. The venue accommodates up to 130 guests and has a private, spacious parking lot. Facilities and Capacity The secluded courtyard is a perfect location for your ceremony—a floral pergola arches over the gate and provides a colorful background for the moment you both say ‘I do’. Rows of seats can be set out for your guests to watch. Here, a Spanish-tiled water fountain, paving, flower beds, and shade-providing trees all combine to create a beautiful walled-garden effect. The courtyard can also be arranged to host your reception. In setting out round tables, chairs, centerpieces, cutlery, and plates, it becomes a beautiful place to experience al fresco dining. It also provides a marvelous backdrop for a stunning photoshoot. The clubhouse offers an impeccably designed interior space with a ballroom, buffet space, and kitchen. With exposed ceiling beams, round tables, candelabra chandeliers, and amber uplighting all around, the ballroom embodies romance. Services Offered Conveniently, La Cañada Thursday Club's staff are willing to welcome outside vendors on site so that you can add your own character to the scene. The venue handles all your rental needs—tables, chairs, linens, and much more. They are also more than happy to offer vendor referrals for caterers and other preferred vendors. Although couples and their guests can provide their own alcohol, staff can be made available to serve drinks. Other Services The wedding party can have access to the venue for 10 hours. Pío Pico State Historic Park preserves the restored adobe home of Pío de Jesus Pico, the last Mexican governor of California, on a five-acre property in Whittier that was once part of his 9,000-acre Rancho Paso de Bartolo. The site is registered as California Historic Landmark No. 127 and offers a rare window into mid-19th-century California history. The grounds feature the fifteen-room adobe residence with interpretive displays, a traditional horno (bread oven), a dovecote, and historic gardens — making it a distinctive outdoor setting for weddings, ceremonies, and private events. The property is ADA accessible and includes restrooms, parking, and picnic areas. Special events are coordinated through the Los Angeles District Special Events team, and the park's events team handles availability, pricing, and permitting for private rentals.
