Celestine is an intimate restaurant and venue located in Brooklyn's DUMBO neighborhood. Tucked beneath the Manhattan Bridge on the edge of the East River, our floor-to-ceiling windows offer sweeping views of the downtown skyline and the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges. Our space Our dining room’s design is inspired by Lebanon in the 60s; pale ash wood contrasts with custom-pressed teal tiles, an abundance of plants, floor to ceiling windows on three sides. Retractable glass doors divide our dining room from our seasonal terrace which sprawls out over the East River and the Brooklyn Bridge Park. The space is surrounded by a lush planter which features a bounty of herbs, grasses, and small flowering plants from the North-East. It’s a gorgeous space for an on-site ceremony or cocktail hour, and it’s part of any private event held here. Our cuisine Beyond our physical space, our emphasis is on excellent food and warm, gracious hospitality. We want you and your guests to feel completely at ease from the moment you walk through our doors. Our menus take inspiration from the Mediterranean coastline, and we offer both buffet and family-style options. Our wine list features natural wines from the coastal Mediterranean region. Our cocktail menu highlights delicious riffs on classic drinks (think G&T’s with Turmeric and Lemongrass) and beers from local producers like Other Half and Folksbier. Our pricing We use a flat-fee structure, similar to an event minimum spend. This pricing is designed to cover almost everything, and includes food and beverage for up to 70 guests seated or 85 standing during peak season. While you are totally welcome to look into additional decor details, everything that is used for service is included in your private event. This covers the basics like glassware, plates, flatware, and napkins, but it also covers use of our votive candles, bud vases, table numbers, cake stand, easels, etc. We're also happy to create and print personalized menus for your event in-house. Evening events are typically 6pm - 11pm and daytime events are typically held from 11am - 3pm. New York sales tax, gratuity, and a 5% administrative fee are applied to event subtotals.

All this comes with the most convenient location in New York: 34th Street and 8th Avenue. Manhattan Center is a full-service production house encompassing all sound, lighting, and video. Sony Hall is a one-of-a-kind venue that flawlessly blends its incredible history and breathtaking design with the Sony Corporation’s state-of-the art technology. First opened in 1938 by theatrical showman and impresario Billy Rose, the venue—formerly known as the Diamond Horseshoe—was famous for its dinner theater shows, vaudeville-style revues, and a chorus of showgirls called “Billy Rose’s Long-Stemmed Beauties.” It quickly became one of the most iconic venues of the vaudeville era, and was later known for the off-Broadway hit “Queen of the Night”. In 2009, the French renaissance, art deco and baroque detailed building received architectural recognition by being designated a New York City landmark. After “Queen of the Night” closed, the space reopened as Sony Hall in 2018—a multi-genre live music hall—leaving much of the venue’s dynamic design intact. The landmark space has been restored and now offers a personalized experience for any private event as a full-service venue. Located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan near Times Square and connected to the Paramount Hotel, Sony Hall is the place to go if you’re looking for a stunning private event venue that can cater to your every need. With an open floor plan, two full bars and the ability to create a catwalk, as well as an additional center stage, Sony Hall can be reinvented to suit your personalized specifications.
