Our facilities are available 9 a.m. to midnight, at times when our public markets are closed: Mondays, Tuesdays (except from mid-June through the end of October), Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays (except June 1 through the last Sunday in September, and during Detroit Lions home games). The historic Garden Theater, built by C. Howard Crane originally opened in 1912., as one of the largest theatre built outside of downtown Detroit, hosting live music and productions. Rooted In Activism 2930 E Jefferson began its current chapter as a nexus for the cannabis legalization movement in 2010. After the successful campaign to legalize medical cannabis in 2008, activist attorney Matthew Abel purchased the building in Detroit's Rivertown District as a home for Cannabis Counsel® Law Firm, the oldest and first cannabis only law firm in the country.
