Situated on the waterfront in the vibrant neighborhood of Dumbo, Smack Mellon offers a truly unique venue for private parties and corporate events. The building is across the street from the picturesque Brooklyn Bridge Park between the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges with breathtaking views of the City skyline. Located in the recently renovated “Boiler Building”, Smack Mellon’s gallery is an especially exciting space with tremendous architectural elements. The 6,000 square foot gallery boasts a ceiling that soars to 35 feet. There are 25 windows on two levels providing beautiful light and a spectacular view of Manhattan and the East River. Smack Mellon is just one subway stop from Manhattan with easy access to the BQE, Manhattan & Brooklyn Bridges and ample parking in nearby garages. The building is handicap accessible.

Our flexible theater has up to 97 seats (110 for a comedy configuration) and can be cleared to be used as an event venue for 200. Our lobby and gallery can hold up to 125. Tucked away in the lovely Paulus Hook neighborhood of Jersey City, this eatery offers five-star services, craft cocktails, and delicious high-end cuisine for your celebration. Executive Chef Brian Walter is at the helm of 87 Sussex. He brings over two decades of culinary expertise, working alongside master chefs. Chef Brian combines traditional French cooking techniques with an innovative modern approach, using only the highest-quality ingredients, and he will take you and your loved ones on a culinary journey at your rehearsal dinner. The restaurant space at 87 Sussex is refined yet comfortable, allowing you to relax and enjoy the meal of a lifetime with your family and friends.

We built our space to be unique and original in many ways but also very minimalist and interchangeable. Our tasting room is 1,000 sf and the main feature here. Large windows open onto the sidewalk. Grey and concrete dominate the space, with 2 circular bar. One bar is a food corner with a simple kitchen set up good for food catering, pop ups or the DJ booth! Lights are all dimmable to create different moods. The main feature of the space is the large circular bar with 40 taps behind it and a big circular window that overlooks our production space. On tap we have a large selection of our cocktails (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), local beers, spirits and wine. There are 2 restrooms, one with handicap access. There is plenty of seating, bar seats, custom bench and circular tables, all can be moved or removed.

Visitors arrive at Maritime Parc via a stately circular driveway that winds its way around the property. An impressive three-story lobby with a majestic chandelier welcomes guests in grand style, serving as the perfect prelude to the private event spaces on the second and third floors of Maritime Parc (respectively The Sky Room and The Aviary), both of which open out to expansive terraces with views of the water.
