Hickory Knolls Discovery Center is a nature education facility operated by the St. Charles Park District, situated on its own natural area at 3795 Campton Hills Rd. in St. Charles, Illinois. The Roselle Park District offers a range of indoor and outdoor rental spaces for private events in Roselle, Illinois. Operating out of the Clauss Recreation Center and several additional park locations, the district provides flexible facilities for birthday parties, bridal and baby showers, corporate meetings, family reunions, holiday parties, and community gatherings. Indoor options include the Maple Room at the Clauss Recreation Center — a divisible space seating up to 100 guests — and the full-sized gymnasium, which accommodates up to 200 guests and can be split in half for smaller events. The Haley Mansion is a castle-like historic event venue set on the bluff overlooking downtown Joliet, Illinois. Construction began in 1891 and was completed in 1893, commissioned by Patrick C. Haley — Mayor of Joliet, attorney, and civic leader — and designed by nationally recognized architect Frank Shaver Allen, who made spectacular use of locally quarried limestone. Gaelic insignias cut into the front porch honor the Haley family's Irish heritage. The three-story, 8,600-square-foot structure features a distinctive tower, original stained-glass windows, intricate hand-carved friezes, and quality wood finishes throughout. Today the property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and operates as a private event facility with 20,000 square feet of event space. Let us host your party or meeting! Birthdays, showers, business meetings, small gatherings, and other events can all be held here. On the main floor, there is space for 80 people, a fireplace, a catering kitchen, and a lovely view of the forest preserve. Two meeting rooms are located on the lower level. There are tables and seats available. Outside, you have unique access to a 27-acre preserve. The Barbara Belding Lodge is open to the public on the first Wednesday of every month from 3 to 7 p.m., or by appointment. All rental fees must be paid in full at least one month before the event. Your security deposit will be forfeited if you do not pay in full one month before to the event. All gatherings must end before 11 p.m., which means the venue must be cleaned, emptied, and abandoned. The facility should be in the same condition as when you originally came. Please keep this in mind when planning your event's start and end times. You might want to engage wait staff to help with clean-up in some circumstances. The Creek Bend Nature Center allows tents, although the Barbara Belding Lodge does not. If you want to use a tent, please let us know when you sign your contract. Any event that necessitates the use of a tent must be booked at Full-Facility Rental prices. All Full-Facility Rentals include tent setup by a vendor of your choice one day prior to your event. All tent vendors must provide a certificate of insurance at least one month prior to your event. A representative of the Kane County Forest Preserve District Facility Assistant will be on the site at all times during your event. He or she is there to secure the property and ensure that your event goes off without a hitch. He is not working as a wedding planner, waiter/waitress, bartender, decorator, or in any other position. He or she is there to ensure that the tenant cleans up after themselves and leaves the venue in the same condition as when they arrived.

Whatever your requirements, we will work with you to create a unique event that will delight both you and your guests. All group activities hosted at Lynfred Winery are open to attendees who are 21 years of age or older. Most events require a minimum of twelve guests. Depending on the occasion, the maximum number of visitors ranges from 20 to 60. Private activities are held seven days a week, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., from January to September. Due to production and other scheduled activities, availability may be limited. In the mid-1970s, Lynn and Fred bought the Fenz Home, a one-acre property near the intersection of Roselle and Irving Park roads in Roselle, Illinois, which had already been historically significant: it had been inhabited by Colonel Roselle Hough, after whom the city is named. The Hattendorf family erected the structure in 1912, and Fred and Lynn rebuilt it, keeping the original detail and modifying it to serve the winemaking operation. Fortunately, the more than 18-inch thick cellar walls provide optimum temperature control for aging wines. Lynfred Winery, founded by Fred and Lynn in 1979, produces 5,000 gallons of wine in seven varieties. Lynfred has held true to its promise of producing exceptional wines over the years. Fred began construction on a 24,000 square foot state-of-the-art winemaking facility in 1990. While Lynn and Fred have both passed, their "small winery" rose to prominence in the winemaking world, and they left a dedicated team to lead Lynfred Winery into the future.

White Pines Golf Club is a Bensenville Park District facility set on more than 260 acres of maintained grounds west of Chicago. A fixture in the Chicago area since 1928, the club has evolved from its origins as an 18-hole course into a full-service event destination with two spaces designed for private celebrations. The Banquet Room accommodates up to 240 guests and features vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a wrap-around balcony overlooking the golf course, pond, and water features. It is well suited for wedding receptions, corporate dinners, and milestone events where guests can take in course views throughout the evening. The Pavilion is a climate-controlled permanent outdoor tent available from May through September, accommodating up to 300 guests. A secluded west-side patio adjoins the space for cocktails and mingling. Ellis House & Equestrian Center is a 45-acre event and equestrian property within the Kendall County Forest Preserve District, situated at 13986 McKanna Road on the northwest side of Minooka, Illinois. The former estate of Steve and Cindy Ellis — donated to the district along with its 5-room house, outbuildings, and an 8-stall barn connected to an indoor riding arena — now serves as a full-service event venue open to weddings, banquets, meetings, showers, reunions, and private parties. The Ellis House accommodates up to 40 guests for a seated reception or 60 for an appetizer reception in the main level. A classroom on the property seats up to 25 for seminars or meetings. From May through October, a 40x80 tent pad allows for tented events hosting up to 200 guests, making the grounds well suited for larger outdoor ceremonies and receptions. The property's sweeping lawn, mature trees, and white-fenced equestrian grounds provide a scenic backdrop for outdoor events year-round. Guests with accessibility needs will find handicapped restrooms accessible through the equestrian entrance. The facility is a non-smoking property, and events are supported by an on-site staff member throughout the licensed period.
