The Santa Barbara Maritime Museum (SBMM) is a waterfront event venue and working museum situated in the heart of the Santa Barbara Harbor, at 113 Harbor Way. Dedicated to preserving and celebrating the coastal and maritime history of the Santa Barbara Channel, SBMM offers a distinctive setting where sweeping views of the harbor, ocean, and Riviera form the backdrop for weddings, corporate gatherings, and private celebrations. Four rental spaces accommodate events of a wide range of sizes, from intimate gatherings of 12 in the fourth-floor Crow's Nest to full-museum buyouts that seat up to 150 and welcome as many as 250 standing guests. The main floor and mezzanine anchor the full museum experience, while the Upper Patio — available exclusively for evening events — offers open-air harbor views. The Munger Theater seats up to 60 guests in a dedicated screening and lecture configuration. All rentals include tables, chairs, and A/V equipment, and the museum permits guests to bring their own caterer or alcohol with no corkage fee, subject to SBMM catering and licensing policies. Rental availability spans from 8:00 a.m. to midnight.

Empress Tavern occupies a subterranean dining room beneath Sacramento's historic Crest Theatre, in a cavernous space created in the 19th century when the city's street level was raised to address flooding. Located at 1013 K Street in downtown Sacramento, the venue is operated by Alchemist CDC as part of its culinary workforce development mission. Three distinct event spaces accommodate gatherings ranging from intimate dinners to receptions of 200. The Chef's Table seats up to 12 guests with a direct sightline into the open kitchen — well suited for private tastings and business dinners. The Bar & Lounge, set against a backdrop of striking orchid wallpaper, hosts cocktail receptions and fundraisers for up to 60 standing guests. The Main Dining Room accommodates up to 150 seated or 200 standing, with optional privacy screens for medium to large groups. Private events are supported by rotating chef-driven menus, from the Queen's Omakase tasting experience to family-style shared service and cocktail party menus. Catering from Empress Tavern is also available for events in the adjacent Crest Theatre.

The original course was designed in 1925 by renowned architect William "Billy" Bell Sr., and the clubhouse and social spaces have been refreshed to offer a comfortable, modern setting for gatherings of all kinds. Each venue has its own own design components and aspects; make a reservation today and celebrate tomorrow. Minimonies at Ravenswood At Ravenswood Historic Site, we are introducing outdoor "minimonies" (mini-ceremonies). Exchange your vows in an outdoor environment with up to 50 guests while keeping all aspects of social distancing in mind. Choose from a romantic garden gazebo, a rustic covered tree patch, or the classic shaded tree archway for your ceremony. Included are the bride's room, tables, chairs, restrooms, parking, and a building attendant. Applicants have the option of hosting a small event with a champagne toast and individually prepared food. A minimum of four (4) hours is required; any additional hours will be charged at the hourly rental rate. Facility Event Rental Process at Ravenswood Applications are accepted eighteen (18) months in advance of the requested date, on a first-come, first served basis; preferred dates, times, and facility location vary. Applicants must submit a completed and signed Facility Rental Application, as well as a refundable deposit, to book and reserve the day. All other rental fees must be paid 45 days before the event date. If applicants want to rent with the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District, they must understand and obey the Facility Rental Rules and Regulations. A facility, date, or requested times are not guaranteed or secured by submitting an application.
