When the family sold the advertising business to Lamar as the industry moved to digital signage, they repurposed the warehouse rather than let it sit empty, opening it as an event venue in 2007 filled with acquired neon and petroleum signs. Sarah Stokely has led the venue since 2018, continuing a family operation now spanning decades. The space is decorated with more than 300 nostalgic Tulsa signs, vintage Route 66 memorabilia, and old oil and gas advertising, giving it a picture-ready, retro character that requires little additional decor. It comfortably seats 160 guests buffet-style and holds up to 200 at full capacity, with parking for 150 vehicles, making it suited to weddings, corporate events, and celebrations of life alike. Rentals come with Stokely-trained hosts who assist from setup through cleanup, a sound system with dance lighting, a projector and drop-down screen, and a Pepsi fountain with eight flavors. Guests also have access to free-play pinball and games including shuffleboard, foosball, ping-pong, cornhole, and giant Jenga, plus a commemorative group photo taken at the event.

Set on 13 acres in the heart of Oklahoma City, Coles Garden began in 2001 as a statue museum, when founders Allen and Susan Coles filled the grounds with monumental sculptures by American artists and antiquities gathered from around the world. As visitors came for the art, the property grew to include floral gardens and an indoor chapel, and it has since become a full wedding and event destination. The grounds still carry that original character, including historic gates sourced from Napoleon Bonaparte's chateau outside of Paris. Current owner Jenny Dotter took over in 2010 and modernized operations while preserving the property's collected charm. Today the venue offers both outdoor ceremony settings, including a koi pond and cascading waterfall framed by weeping willows and a secluded garden of manicured hedges, and indoor reception spaces with vaulted ceilings, chandeliers, and garden views, each accommodating up to 300 guests. A dedicated bridal suite and groom's lounge, tables and chairs for ceremonies and receptions, and an open vendor policy round out the offering, and couples can choose between indoor and outdoor settings as late as the day of the event.

The Stables at Washita Farms

- 1 Barn
- 1 Farm
For decades, our family has farmed and ranched in southern Oklahoma. With deep roots in the community, we've held a number of events in the neighborhood throughout the years. We were grabbing at straws for sites to host an engagement party, bridal showers, and rehearsal dinner when we scheduled a large family wedding in January of 2015. There were few and far between possibilities. We knew we weren't the only ones who felt this way! The necessity for new venues to serve Ardmore, Madill, Tishomingo, and the surrounding area was discussed and debated at that time. We thought we might have just the property after some brainstorming and a lot of imagination. The transformation of the existing horse barn into The Stables at Washita Farms has been a true labor of love. Every member of our immediate family has been involved in the decision-making process, and many hours of physical labor have been put in as well. Our goal for The Stables was to keep the original barn's equestrian style while adding some exquisite accents and features. We also reused things and materials from our historic property to create something genuinely one-of-a-kind. What you'll discover is a blank canvas that is stunning on its own. You have the freedom to decorate as much or as little as you choose. The splendor of the barn will be enhanced by your choice of event decor! Engagement parties, anniversary parties, milestone birthdays, rehearsal dinners, weddings, vow renewals, family reunions, corporate retreats, and more are all possibilities at The Stables at Washita Farms. Our family's involvement in the management of The Stables at Washita Farms is extremely important to us, and we would be honored to be a part of your special day.
