The Ace Hotel Brooklyn is located in Boerum Hill, on the outskirts of Downtown Brooklyn, about a block from the Hoyt-Schermerhorn Station and at the crossroads of everything. We designed Ace Brooklyn from the ground up, every piece in service of the borough's ceaseless ingenuity, made to move and breathe right along with the city itself, as the next chapter in Ace's long relationship with New York. The hotel's Brutalist front blends smoothly with interiors inspired by European modernists' raw artist studio spaces, thanks to longstanding Ace partners Roman and Williams. Guest rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of Manhattan, Staten Island, and the Statue of Liberty, as well as a common lobby and a large-scale installation by artist Stan Bitters. We created a lush indoor garden with a double-sided fireplace and sawtooth skylight, as well as lots of indoor and outdoor work spaces for our neighbors and visitors — a permanent home to carry on the city's great legacy of people doing things their way, together. Located in New York City, The Love Shack is a surreal photographic location and event space. Alexander and Brittany Love designed and built two life-size dollhouses inside an abandoned industrial building in Bushwick, Brooklyn. A large majority of the pieces of furniture and lighting you see are either original designs, or they have been restored and modified from their original forms. Some of our pieces, such as our one-of-a-kind lighting designs and The Library Chair, are available for purchase. In addition to photoshoots, small corporate events like cocktail parties, weddings, and other intimate gatherings, the Love Shack can be used as a performance space or as a screening room.
