Nashville Zoo at Grassmere sits on the historic Grassmere property in South Nashville, a former farm dating to 1810 that the Zoo has managed since 1996. The grounds combine wildlife habitats with the restored Grassmere Historic Home and Historic Farm, giving events a backdrop that mixes exotic animals with genuine Nashville history. The Zoo hosts private events after closing hours as well as daytime gatherings, with venues ranging from the covered, tented Jungle Terrace Pavilion to intimate animal-adjacent spots like Botswana Overlook, Expedition Peru, and Flamingo Lagoon. Couples can also hold micro-weddings and rehearsal dinners on the lawn at the Grassmere Historic Home, with its 1810 farmhouse as a backdrop. Taste of the Wild Catering serves as the Zoo's exclusive on-site caterer, offering customizable menus for weddings, corporate picnics, and receptions, and add-ons like animal meet-and-greets and carousel rides give hosts ways to build the wildlife setting directly into their event.

Belle Meade Historic Site & Winery sits on roughly 30 acres just minutes from downtown Nashville, on grounds that once served as a 19th-century thoroughbred horse farm internationally recognized for its legacy of Southern hospitality. The estate's Greek Revival mansion and boxwood garden, shaded by centuries-old magnolia trees, provide a historic backdrop for wedding ceremonies, while six historic structures across the property give planners a range of settings to choose from for receptions and private events. For receptions, the Carriage House offers a climate-controlled space with exposed wood and historic brickwork, accommodating up to 200 guests for dinner and dancing. A tented option with solid flooring is also available, serving as a cocktail area, seated dinner space, or rain-plan backup for the same guest count. An on-site game court with bocce ball, horseshoes, cornhole, croquet, and a putting green gives guests something to do during cocktail hour. Belle Meade Historic Site is also home to Belle Meade Winery, and its private-events team includes an on-site executive chef and culinary staff, sommeliers, and bourbon stewards for evening events and celebrations that go beyond the standard wedding format.
