Built in 1914, the Wildman Boiler & Tank building is approximately 12,000 square feet with 16-foot ceilings and a rare double-bow truss with 48-foot ceiling expanses. Located just off of Sacramento Blvd, where West Town, Humboldt Park and East Garfield Park meet, Wildman BT is easily accessible from downtown and all Chicagoland suburbs. The Wildman Boiler & Tank building is home to Trope Gallery, a boutique publishing and film company. From working production studio to a glamourous setting for the poshest private events, Wildman BT has been designed with the ultimate flexibility and functionality needed to make our guests’ visions become a reality. The Halim Time & Glass Museum is home to hundreds of historical timepieces, stained glass masterpieces and artwork from around the world. A Golden Chinese Pagoda topped with over 5000 pearls, a porcelain and bronze clock that was once owned by Katherine the Great, a lobby with towering stained glass windows, and a grand, floating staircase topped with a celestial stained glass dome are only a couple highlights of this magnificent museum. The Halim Museum offers four event spaces. The Wisteria Room is a 4,000 square feet space with stunning hand-painted gilded trim, skylights to the Rooftop Garden, floor to ceiling windows with panoramic view and a wrap-around balcony. The Tiffany Gallery is a 1,500 square foot space adorn with the treasures crafted by Louis Comfort Tiffany. The Garden Room and the Zodiac Terrace offer masterpieces of stained glass and hand-painted stenciling inspired by Gilded Age mansions. Our “Salon Prive” is a private space inspired by the great salons of yester-year; featuring vintage doors for complete privacy and a state of the art audio visual system. “The Library” is a warm, intimate space filled with vintage “finds” and books, custom sliding doors and dark wood features. Our “Lounge” is at the heart of Found and perfectly embodies the vibe of “Gertrude Stein’s salon of 1920 Paris meets Jack Kerouac in owner Amy Morton’s living room’. Our lounge is smart, relaxed and enhanced with a flood of candlelight during evening events. If you are interested in more space we do offer the option of a full venue buy out as well so please just ask. Since its inception in November 2012, Found has flourished as a gathering place for the community to eat, drink, and think in a welcoming and genuine environment. At the Evanston eatery, Amy's vision of a kitchen and social house comes to life in a relaxed, creative atmosphere inspired by 1920's Bohemian Paris and icons of the Beat Generation. Just as wonderful as the vibe is the food, created by Chef Nicole Pederson.
