In our spare time, we can be found upstate at Meadowsweet Farm with our daughter and son, where we cultivate some incredible veggies with Polo's father for use at Meadowsweet. New York Marble Cemetery is a historic half-acre walled garden tucked into the interior of a city block in Manhattan's East Village, accessible through iron gates at 41½ Second Avenue via a 100-foot private alley. Founded in 1830 as the oldest public non-denominational cemetery in New York City, the grounds are enclosed by 12-foot Tuckahoe marble walls and contain 156 underground burial vaults. The site holds dual designations as a New York City Landmark and a listing on the National Register of Historic Places. The cemetery accommodates private events of up to 120 guests on a center lawn spanning roughly 30 by 150 feet. The range of events hosted includes weddings, fundraisers, fashion shows, corporate gatherings, film and television productions, poetry readings, and art shows. Catering, food, BBQ, and alcohol are permitted on the grounds. Quiet music is welcome at or below 60 decibels; dancing, loud music, and Halloween-themed events are not permitted. The venue does not supply bathrooms, electricity, or garbage services, and renters are required to carry $2 million in private event insurance.

One if by Land, Two if by Sea has been recognized for its classic menu, long history, and beautiful decor. It is often cited as the most romantic restaurant in New York City. The decor features candlelit tables, brick fireplaces, a baby grand piano and a private garden. The restaurant operates inside a historic, land-marked carriage house built in 1767. Established in 1973, One if by Land, Two if by Sea soon became the go to spot in NYC for engagements, anniversaries and weddings. More people are said to have announced their engagement here than any other restaurant in Manhattan.

Astor Center occupies the second floor of the historic De Vinne Press Building near Astor Place in NoHo. For private events, Astor Center offers The Study: a state-of-the-art tasting room and learning facility built for groups of up to 36. Stadium-style seating, three AV screens with participant voting capability, custom light boxes and built-in sinks at each seat, and a fully equipped demonstration kitchen make The Study well-suited to corporate workshops, product launches, culinary demonstrations, and curated tasting experiences. The Merchant's House Museum is New York City's only family home to survive intact — inside and out — from the 19th century. Built in 1832 in the late-Federal and Greek Revival style, the Manhattan rowhouse carries triple landmark designation at the federal, state, and city levels, including National Historic Landmark status since 1966. It was the first building designated under New York City's 1965 Landmarks Preservation Law and remains one of only six residential interior landmarks in the city. The Tredwell family occupied the residence from 1835 until 1933, and more than 3,000 of their original belongings remain in place. The museum is also recognized as Manhattan's only documented site of the Underground Railroad open to the public. For private events, the venue accommodates up to 30 guests for intimate wedding ceremonies, garden elopements, and engagement photography sessions. The 19th-century rear garden serves as the primary ceremony setting; the Greek Revival double parlor and 1850s kitchen provide indoor alternatives when weather requires.

The Lofts at Prince are comprised of three spacious lofts (Penthouse Six, Soho Loft, and Soho Meet), all of which are ideal for hosting your special event or gathering. We provide you with three flexible floors that can be configured to accommodate a variety of corporate and social events. The best part is that we will set up, break down, and clean up after ourselves, and we will provide a large selection of our own furnishings at no additional charge. This charming venue, which is located in historic Soho on Prince Street between Thompson and Sullivan, will transport you away from the hustle and bustle of Midtown Manhattan. In addition to the elegant entrance and lobby, which feature 100-year-old front doors, restored glass in the foyer, preserved metal tin ceilings and an elegant period elevator, your guests will be impressed by the venue's elegant interior. The Loft is a large blank canvas that can be customized to accommodate a variety of corporate and social events of varying sizes. This 2,500 square foot venue has plenty of wall space for clients to use, as well as a main event room and a living room set-up for guests. When il Buco first opened its doors in 1994 as a rustic antique store on NoHo's cobblestoned Bond Street, the restaurant quickly rose to become one of the city's most beloved destinations. Donna Lennard and her then-partner, Italian-born restaurateur Alberto Avalle, were pioneers on Bond Street when they invited their antique customers to join them for their midday "pranzo" before obtaining a wine and beer license and developing an eclectic Mediterranean menu that was equal parts Italian, Spanish, and invention, and dedicated to sourcing the finest prime ingredients both locally and in Avalle's home country of Italy. The culinary philosophy of il Buco is firmly rooted in the Italian tradition of seasonality and the integrity of all of the ingredients used in the restaurant. It is housed in the historic Brooklyn Navy Yard and has a 2500sf photo and video studio with 15' high ceilings, as well as an oversized, 20'x32' complete cyclorama with contemporary architectural elements. The studio opens up to a 5000sf rooftop deck with a panoramic view of the Manhattan skyline and the Hudson River. Ten Ton Studio is the ideal location for films, photo shoots, and special events since it provides a variety of amenities such as photographic equipment rental, a beauty station, event planning services, free client parking, and unique access to the Brooklyn Navy Yard. A full-service photographic studio and event facility located in the heart of Brooklyn's Navy Yard, Ten Ton Studio offers a variety of services. Daylight streams in through the roof deck and right onto our 32-foot curved cyc, which has the capacity to be completely blacked out. Ten Ton Studio is Brooklyn's top recording studio, thanks to its on-site equipment.

Charlie Bird is a fun neighborhood restaurant located in Soho, NYC and offering an Italian-inspired, American-executed menu developed by Chef Ryan Hardy. Theo Lieberman oversees the wine program, a list featuring an exceptional selection of vintages and delicious wines. Charlie Bird is rooted in all things New York - from the brick and mortar walls that date back to 1880, to a kitchen that only sources local ingredients for the menu, to the hip hop-inspired art that covers the walls. The menu reflects Chef and Co-owner Ryan Hardy’s thoughtful interpretation of what he describes as a nod to Italian cuisine, influenced by his passion for making cheese, curing meats, digging for clams, diving for urchin, farming produce and crafting handmade pasta. Co-owner Robert Bohr and Wine Director Grant Reynolds developed the wine list, which offers a small but compelling array of bottles. The 60-seat space is decidedly NY, manifesting an understated modern aesthetic designed to offer amazing food in an ambiance that is both sophisticated and approachable.
