    My Little White House

    Seattle, WA, USA

Bring your vision to life in My Little White House, an ideal setting for styled shoots, portrait photography, and other intimate events in addition to other possibilities. My Little White House is a 170 square foot boutique up-cycled studio that is located in a private garden in the West Seattle neighborhood of West Seattle. It was built primarily out of salvaged materials and vintage finds. The Little White House is a little studio that I built out of reclaimed materials and things that I found in dumpsters. It is 170 square feet in size. I didn't even consider constructing a white house or a small house when I came up with the idea. Simply put, I desired a location where I could build a fire during the colder months... Initially, it was only 10 feet by 10 feet, but over time, it expanded, the ceilings got higher, and it evolved into what it is today... People are drawn to the White House, in my opinion, due to the fact that a lot of its furnishings were salvaged from dumpsters or were things that previous owners had thrown away because they no longer wanted them. I believe that the Little White House breathes new life into all of those things in some sense... At the very least, that is what compelled me to construct it. It was the concept of turning things that were thrown away into something attractive and intriguing by giving them a second life in the form of something else entirely.

Wild Ginger has occupied the corner of 3rd Avenue and Union Street in downtown Seattle, across from Benaroya Hall, since 2000, when founders Rick and Ann Yoder moved the restaurant from its original home below Pike Place Market into a building that once housed a vaudeville theatre. The space was designed by NBBJ, and its basement later became home to The Triple Door, the music and performance venue that opened in 2003. The kitchen draws on recipes gathered from Malaysia, Burma, Thailand, Singapore, and Hong Kong, served family style so guests share dishes across the table, alongside a wine program the restaurant treats with the same care as its food menu. For private dining, the downtown location offers the Lion Room, Dragon Room, Mezzanine Lounge, Union St. Dining Room, and a set of four configurable Mezzanine Rooms that combine to seat up to 64 guests. Between these settings, Wild Ginger accommodates gatherings from an intimate dinner for five to a corporate reception for five hundred, making it a flexible choice for everything from small private dinners to large-scale celebrations.

A corporation known as Art Marble established a business in 1921 with the goal of providing high-end granite and stone to consumers in the Pacific Northwest, which was the beginning of our restaurant's history. Our restaurant, which was once known as Art Marble Co., was inspired by the period, and we wanted to maintain the building in order to remember its past. One hundred years later, we are happy to keep the original name of one of South Lake Union's oldest structures. The classics and staples of the past are still important to us as we usher in a new millennium of history in the city of Seattle. We also provide our own interpretation of the tastes in order to provide you the greatest flavors we can find. Art Marble 21 is now the top South Lake Union treatment for the Seattle Freeze, and it's easy to see why. AM21's multi-level facility caters to the needs of both locals and visitors, whether they are business or pleasure tourists. However, Mason's Loft on the second floor, which has customizable floor plans as well as private rooms and a secondary audio visual system, is ideal for any size business or personal event. While our first floor Social Hall welcomes any casual guest for happy hour, to catch the latest sports game or simply to enjoy an after-work cocktail, Mason's Loft is ideal for any size business or personal event. Her inaugural journey, as a member of the Puget Sound Mosquito Fleet, took place on June 11, 1922, and she arrived in Seattle on June 14, 1922. The Mosquito Fleet was the world's first regional ferry system, linking coastal communities around South Puget Sound in the early twentieth century. It was through steamship that people were carried between the burgeoning port cities of Seattle and Tacoma, as well as produce and cattle from farms on Vashon Island. In the years 1922 to 1938, the VIRGINIA V served as the principal line between Seattle and Tacoma, operating via the West Pass (also known as "Colvos Passage"), which ran between Vashon Island and the Kitsap Peninsula. The S.S. VIRGINIA V is the final operating example of a steamer from the Puget Sound Mosquito Fleet, and it is still in service today. Because of her all-wood construction and steam engine, she has been designated as a National Historic Landmark ship. To learn more about a certain issue, select it from the list below. It is possible to charter the Virginia V as a venue for a variety of events including weddings, holiday parties, business events, birthdays, anniversaries, and other small gatherings. Whether you're hosting a party dockside at our homeport on Lake Union or taking your guests on a tour of Lake Washington and Puget Sound, our historic ship is the ideal location for any event. The ship's rich history and all-wood build immediately endear it to visitors. Any celebration will be more intimate because of the size. Excursions feature breathtaking views of Seattle's skyline and neighboring districts that are likely to leave a lasting effect on those who take part in them.
