The Seattle Marriott Waterfront sits directly on Elliott Bay in downtown Seattle, at 2100 Alaskan Way across from the city's cruise ship terminals. Nautical-themed guest rooms look out over the water and surrounding mountains, and Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, and the Seattle Aquarium are all just minutes away. Nine event rooms make up more than 18,000 square feet of space, anchored by the roughly 8,000-square-foot Grand Pacific Ballroom, which holds up to 900 guests theater-style, 800 for a reception, and 600 for a seated banquet. Smaller rooms, including the Harbor Room, Seaport Room, and Executive Boardroom, support meetings and gatherings of varying size, and proximity to Bell Harbor Conference Center adds further capacity when needed. Weddings bring waterfront ceremony sites together with the hotel's ballrooms, supported by Marriott Certified Wedding Planners who help coordinate menus, table settings, and vendors. Hook & Plow, the hotel's on-site restaurant, doubles as an event space with its own water views, while on-site catering and event technology round out the planning support available for meetings and celebrations alike.

Pickering Barn is a city-owned event venue in Issaquah, Washington, built around a barn that once stood on the property of territorial governor William Pickering in the 1800s and has served the community for more than 110 years. The 12,000-square-foot facility is organized into two connected banquet rooms, the Hay Barn and the Dairy Barn, which can be booked together for up to 350 guests or reserved individually for smaller events, along with an outdoor courtyard suited to ceremonies. Planners booking Pickering Barn have access to two dedicated dressing rooms, the Jersey Room and the Holstein Room, each outfitted with mirrors and clothing racks, plus the Creamery, a catering prep space with commercial refrigeration and sinks. An on-site venue attendant supports facility access, setup, cleanup, and security throughout the rental period, and the barns include AV equipment and wireless internet. Parking is included with every rental: the adjacent lot holds 145 vehicles, including six accessible stalls. Beyond private events, Pickering Barn also hosts the Issaquah Farmers Market and the annual Spring Sustainability Fair.
Lake Lawrence Community Club
15735 Topaz Dr SE, Yelm, WA 98597, USA- Spaces for 320 Guests
Lake Lawrence Community Club occupies a lodge built in 1923 as Edwards Pavilion, when Louie Armstrong and Amber Reichel raised the building from logs felled on the property itself and Frank Noreen constructed its fireplace. The pavilion served Edwards Resort, a fishing and recreation getaway on the lake, and hosted dances there for decades before the resort closed in 1973. The lodge and its grounds then became part of Lake Lawrence Community Club, which now opens the space to the wider community for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, family reunions, and other private events. The lodge hosts guests with 38 banquet tables, 4 round tables, and 310 folding chairs, along with two separate dressing areas for the bridal party and groom. A full kitchen equipped with a professional range, microwave, 100-cup coffee maker, three refrigerators, and a beverage cooler supports on-site catering. The parking lot holds 300 vehicles under supervised parking, and motorhomes and RVs are welcome to stay overnight. Rentals run from Friday setup through a Saturday event day and a Sunday morning cleanup, giving wedding parties and event hosts a full weekend at the lake.
The Phinney Neighborhood Association
6532 Phinney Ave N, Seattle, WA 98103, USA- Spaces for 20-200 Guests
- 3 Event Spaces
- 6 Historic Spaces
- 6 Meeting Spaces
The Phinney Neighborhood Association occupies a campus of two historic Seattle school buildings — the Blue Building, built in 1904, and the Brick Building, built in 1917 — along with the nearby Greenwood Senior Center, and because the organization's mission centers on fostering an inclusive, welcoming community, its rooms are rented out by the hour to host everything from meetings and classes to private parties and celebrations. Since both campuses are ADA-accessible with elevators and offer free on-site parking, groups of nearly any size can move easily between spaces, from small classrooms that seat up to 35 people to the Community Hall, a 2,336-square-foot room with sprung bamboo flooring, a stage with podium, and seating for up to 135 guests (150 standing), and the Greenwood Room, which accommodates up to 200 seated guests beneath its accordion dividing wall and projection screen. Because the association hosts nearly 800 community activities each year across these same rooms, renters booking an event here are stepping into buildings that already anchor daily community life in Northwest Seattle.
The Cedar River Watershed Education Center
17905 Cedar Falls Rd SE, North Bend, WA 98045, USA- Spaces for 120 Guests
The Cedar River Watershed Education Center sits above the shores of Rattlesnake Lake in the Cascade foothills, on the historic site of the old Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railway's Cedar Falls camp. Operated by Seattle Public Utilities, the Center serves as a gateway to the Cedar River Municipal Watershed, the source of drinking water for 70 percent of the 1.6 million people in the greater Seattle area. The Center is made up of five buildings connected by covered walkways topped with living roofs, designed by Seattle architects Jones & Jones with sustainable materials throughout — 98 percent of the wood used meets LEED standards for sustainable harvest, and the outdoor decking and benches are built from Smart Deck, a composite of recycled plastic and wood. In the Forest Court, native plantings tie the buildings into the surrounding forest, and a series of water drums — commissioned from artist Dan Corson through Seattle's 1% for Art program — release a rhythm of water droplets via a computerized irrigation system, audible from dawn to dusk. Inside, free hands-on exhibits trace the region's water cycle, forests, and wildlife for visitors of all ages, with groups of ten or more asked to reserve ahead.
