Nearing 20 years as one of Chicago’s most iconic dining destinations, Hugo’s Frog Bar & Fish House first opened doors in the heart of the Gold Coast neighborhood in February 1997. After operating Chicago’s best steakhouse next door for six years, Gibson Restaurant Group partners Steve Lombardo and Hugo Ralli decided to open the city’s finest seafood restaurant. MAD Social is a neighborhood kitchen & gathering place in the heart of the West Loop. The elevated yet approachable venue space features a rustic, industrial chic interior, which provides the perfect backdrop for eclectic shareable plates & creative cocktails. MAD Social is available for full buy out, and their event menus and packages are customizable. Adolfo Garcia oversaw the design of MAD Social and has kept it true to its warehouse roots, while bringing a French industrial chic feel to the space. An intimate and refined place, MAD Social has 65 seats in the dining room, 12 at the bar and will offer outdoor seating in the patio space during warmer months. In keeping with the industrial past of the West Loop neighborhood, Garcia used “1900’s warehouse” as a design inspiration. He utilized the natural elements in the space, like the original timber ceilings and hardwood flooring. Leftover wood from the buildout was reclaimed and re-used. Guests will see it incorporated throughout MAD Social's dining room from the table tops to focal point art pieces, including a jigsaw-esque design on the front of the bar and an oversized wooden mosaic piece on the east wall.

The Somerset Chicago has beautiful hardwood floors, glamorous gold hardware and bold yet elegant jewel toned decor. The interiors are inspired by a new-fashioned take on American Country Club culture, making The Somerset Chicago an ideal location for any elegant event. An exterior patio offers al fresco dining in season. The entirety of Somerset Chicago fits 230 guests. The Clubhouse on the second level fits 90 seated guests, and is fully equipped with its own bar, lounging spots and balcony areas. Both the Regatta Room and Upper Deck offer smaller, more intimate spaces for meetings or dinner parties.

The Arbella, flagship of the Winthrop Fleet, sailed from England to Salem in 1630, and gave birth to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. During the voyage, the passengers and crew managed to consume the 10,000 gallons of wine that had been stowed on board as part of the ship’s provisions.
