Glenview Mansion is a 1926 Neo-Classical Revival estate listed on the National Register of Historic Places, set within Rockville's 153-acre Civic Center Park. Built to entertain, the mansion retains its original character — exotic marble floors, formal boxwood gardens, ornamental fountains, and stone archways — while serving today as a full-service event venue operated by the City of Rockville, Maryland. The mansion's first floor opens into a suite of interconnected social rooms, each with its own character: the marble-floored Conservatory with dazzling lighting, the window-lined Dining Room and Library, and the Living Room with direct access to the Formal Gardens. Over its nearly three centuries of history, the estate has passed through the stewardship of the Smithsonian Institution, the American Chemical Society, and Howard Community College before Howard County acquired it in 2012.
