The Waterfront Park sits on San Diego Bay providing a perfect backdrop for your special event. The existing historic landscape and landmark County building form the park’s center, while an interactive splash fountain extends from the building and into the park defining a large civic green. The park also features intimate garden rooms with distinct themes, a vibrant children's play zone, and several picnic areas. The Waterfront Park’s diverse spaces can accommodate public and private special events of various sizes, festivals, farmers markets, and active or relaxed family recreation. It’s also an ideal venue for a bayside wedding in downtown San Diego.

The Main Dining Room Special events, banquets, buy-outs, private parties, wedding rehearsal dinners, and other gatherings are welcome at Ristorante Illando. In our rustic Italian Cucina, we can comfortably seat 50 people and provide a variety of pre-fixed menus to ensure that your dining experience runs smoothly! In the heart of Little Italy, on India Street, Ristorante Illando is within walking distance of the Porto Vista Hotel & Suites, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Diego Downtown, The Trolley Stop, Maritime Museum, San Diego County Administration Center, and Waterfront Park. The restaurant serves Italian cuisine. 50 people can be accommodated. Bathroom, air conditioning, fans, and windows are among the amenities (with a view of India Street) It is our main room, which has been designed in a cozy, rustic setting, with walls lined with family photographs, which will make you and your guests feel as if they are in our own Landini residence. It is an excellent venue for private parties, wine tastings, corporate meetings, wedding rehearsal dinners, holiday parties, and other events. Our semi-private dining area is ideal for groups of up to 12 people for lunch or dinner. This area, which is separated from the main dining room by a beautiful sliding barn door, provides guests with privacy while still retaining the character of the restaurant. On the patio, you can enjoy a casual meal. When our sister restaurant, Landini's Pizzeria, opened its doors for business in the fall of 2009, our outdoor patio was designed to complement the space. No general admission fee is required to visit the Museum of Photographic Arts (MOPA), which is located in historic Balboa Park, and visitors are encouraged to make a donation in lieu of paying admission. THE SAN DIEGO HISTORY CENTER, located in historic Balboa Park, offers entertaining exhibitions that will complement any event, party, or celebration. Our museum features a large Atrium, Theater, Conference Room, and nine galleries in a lovely and expansive setting. Weddings, cocktail parties, social hours, meetings, and fundraisers are all possible at the museum. An event at the San Diego History Center means celebrating and enjoying the company of coworkers, friends, and family while surrounded by our exquisite location. It is strongly recommended, but not needed, to hire a wedding organizer. You are investing in professional experience and peace of mind by doing so.
