Founded in 1876 by Italian immigrants Giuseppe and Pietro Simi, SIMI Winery has called Healdsburg, California home for nearly 150 years. Situated in Sonoma County's Alexander Valley, the winery is known for its historic stone cellars and grounds shaded by redwoods, where majestic gardens and serene waterfalls create a setting well suited for private gatherings. SIMI's legacy is anchored by remarkable female leadership. When both founding brothers died unexpectedly in 1904, Isabelle Simi took over management at age 18, steering the winery through Prohibition and launching the first winery tasting room in California in 1934 — fashioned from a 25,000-gallon wine cask installed in front of the stone cellars. That tradition of pioneering women continued with the country's first female enology graduate in 1973 and California's first female senior winery manager in 1979. Today, SIMI hosts private events on its historic estate grounds, offering dedicated event concierges, an in-house food and wine program, and an authentic outdoor pizza oven. Hanna Winery & Vineyards is a family-owned estate winery set across two Sonoma County locations — Alexander Valley and Russian River Valley. Founded in 1985 when Dr. Elias Hanna purchased 12 acres in Sonoma, the winery grew under the leadership of Christine Hanna into an operation spanning more than 250 acres across five vineyard sites. Both tasting rooms are open to the public, and the Alexander Valley property hosts private events in a dedicated outdoor celebrations site overlooking the valley. The Alexander Valley Celebrations Site accommodates up to 80 guests against a backdrop of vineyard rows and rolling hills. The venue includes two restroom facilities, a minimum of two Hanna team members, and a VIP wine tasting experience for beverage selection. Windsor Golf Club is a championship golf course and full-service event venue set amid the rolling hills of Wine Country in Windsor, California, approximately 60 miles north of San Francisco. The 18-hole, 6,650-yard course winds through a landscape of lakes, a meandering creek, and majestic oak trees, offering a scenic backdrop for both golf and private celebrations. Three event spaces accommodate gatherings of varying sizes: the Lake View Room hosts up to 50 guests, the Banquet Room welcomes up to 185 guests and connects to a semi-enclosed outdoor heated patio, and the Outdoor Garden Area accommodates up to 300 guests. Catelli's is a family-owned Italian restaurant and event venue located in the heart of Geyserville, California, in the Alexander Valley wine country. Founded by Italian immigrants Santi and Virginia Catelli in 1936 and reopened by the fourth generation of the family in 2010, the restaurant carries nearly ninety years of culinary tradition into its event programming. Three distinct event spaces accommodate gatherings from intimate rehearsal dinners to outdoor wedding celebrations of up to 150 guests. The Patio features a circular marble floor surrounded by mature Ascolano olive trees and a white marble bar, and hosts events seasonally from June through October. The Garden offers a 650-square-foot pebble gathering area framed by lush landscaping for smaller outdoor events in the warmer months. The Fireside Room brings warmth indoors with wide-plank wood floors and a wood-burning fireplace, seating up to 50 guests year-round. The Inn's Background Take advantage of the Applewood Inn's 3,800 square foot space and make yourself at home. The Inn has 6 bedrooms and 7 queen size beds, so it can comfortably accommodate a group of 12 guests in total. Each of the Inn's bedrooms is individually decorated, and special care has been taken to create a comfortable and homey atmosphere throughout the establishment. It is a great place for gatherings, vacationing, and spending time with family and friends because it has spacious common areas throughout the house, in addition to the 6 bedrooms. The devil is in the details. Ample kitchen space equipped with all of the essentials for cooking, including an oven/stove, microwave, dishes and silverware, a refrigerator, and a dishwasher. There is a large dining room area. Wifi is available throughout the Inn at high speeds using fiber optic cables. a comfortable and inviting gathering space with couches and chairs for lounging and reading, a game table, a piano for sing-a-longs, and a gas fireplace In addition, there is a large screen smart TV.
