Because Amy Schonheit (24, who works in the arts) and David Schonheit (24, who works in engineering) both have a passion for the outdoors, they chose to have their wedding ceremony at San Moritz Lodge in Crestline, California, which was surrounded by woodlands. As much as Amy and David adored the color teal, they decided to combine it with other hues to create a palette that blended in with nature—from the bridesmaid dresses, which came in a variety of styles and lengths, to the greenery that accented the sides of the wooden ceremony archway—to create a palette that blended in with nature. Amy desired a wedding gown that was simple yet elegant, and she found the perfect strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline that she accessorized with a silver belt. Amy and her husband were married in a simple yet elegant ceremony. Small wooden birdhouse-shaped props painted with numbers were placed at each dining table in the rustic building of the San Moritz Lodge to help guests find their seats when they arrived. Floral centerpieces, wheat, and small votive candles were arranged on top of burlap and lace that was draped across the middle of the tables to create a soft, romantic atmosphere. Featuring green leaves carefully placed on the surface of each layer and a tree-shaped topper, the two-tier white wedding cake perched on top of a tree trunk embodied the natural vibe of the day. More Mother Nature-inspired details can be found in the gallery below. At San Moritz Lodge in Crestline, California, the reception was held in the rustic space of the lodge's rustic space. It was designed to look like a log cabin, complete with wooden ceilings, stone walls, and brown carpeted floors, among other things.

In 1993, we purchased Arrowhead Road Resort and renamed it Arrowhead Pine Rose Cabin, after a pine cone that grows on the site and resembles a rose. After a gorgeous oak tree died, we created our distinctive log and branch gazebo at Hidden Creek, which was located at the base of a natural amphitheater, making it the ideal place for weddings. Jolene's father wanted to create her a dream wedding venue when she decided to get married in 2007. As a result, we put a lot of thought and attention into the design of our website. More decking and a cake gazebo were installed. A water feature was one of Jolene's top priorities for her wedding. So her father constructed a year-round stream and pond for her. We put in a lot of effort to make the most of the natural terrain. Our wish is for every couple to feel the same love and joy that we did on the day our daughter married. You're invited to discover the romance of nature with whispering pines and babbling brooks at our one-of-a-kind Rustic Natural Forest wedding location. Malaga Cove Library occupies a 1929 Mediterranean Revival landmark designed by architect Myron Hunt, situated within Malaga Cove Plaza in Palos Verdes Estates, California. The five-story building features cream-colored stucco walls, a red mission tile roof, wrought-iron railings, and a main reading room with exposed wood beams and hand-carved walnut furniture — all set against a hillside overlooking the Pacific coast. In 1980, the building was designated a historical landmark by the Rancho de los Palos Verdes Historical Society, and it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995. The venue offers two primary event settings: a large classical Art Gallery on the ground floor and the adjacent Olmsted Garden, a terraced outdoor space originally designed by Frederick Olmsted Jr. in 1930 and later restored to its original specifications. Together, the Gallery and Garden accommodate wedding ceremonies of up to 100 guests, with seated reception capacity of up to 85 when both spaces are combined. The Tower Room at the top of the building, featuring angled ceilings, exposed beams, and Pacific Ocean views, serves as an additional staging area for wedding parties. A Community Room on the premises accommodates up to 50 guests and is available for meetings, seminars, training sessions, and private parties. Events in both settings are managed through the Palos Verdes Library District.
